Very dissatisfied with my experience at the Best of the West location where I purchased my Viking Sapphire 930 machine. The first lady I dealt with was a doll...Betty #1. Unfortunately, she was gone by the time I came back after deciding to buy the machine. I waited and waited and waited for someone to assist me with the purchase of this expensive machine. I requested the additional purchase of the extension table which I was told was not in stock and needed to be ordered. Two weeks later, still no table. I was told there was no way to know when it would come in, no way for them to call the warehouse in Tennessee to see when it would be shipped and "no there is no number for you to call and complain. And I just work here." This in response to me stating this was not great customer service. The free class to teach you how to use your machine was a waste of my time as the lovely lady brought in to 'teach' the class doesn't use my type of machine and she looked through my book next to me. These dealers should have the basic accessories available when spending over $1200.00 for a sewing machine as well as staff that are well educated on how to run these machines. Poor experience for a purchase I was excited about.

Viking quilt machine was a waste of money. It has never worked right. Has a clunking sound. Never have been able to get tension right. The light strip was on back order. I was promised 04/20/21 Beth would mail it to me. I picked it up from the store today. Must not have had mail service all this time.

If I could I would give them negative stars. I purchased a Designer Epic. It was discounted because it was a floor model. So I was told. I was also told that I could add to the warranty after the first year. I went to add to the warranty and I was told it could not do that because it was used. I was shocked. I would have never paid 7,000.00 for a used machine. These people are dishonest. I’m furious.

It has been a few years since I went to this location, but when I did it was because I was looking to upgrade my sewing machine from the 140C to the 145C. I asked about the trade in value, and was told rather condescendingly that I would have to have not just all the accessories which is no problem but all the paperwork as well - not just the manual. When I followed up that question with the trade in value towards the 145C, I was told it would be about $100. I ended up going to another authorized retailer to purchase my 145C for a much lower price than I had been quoted here. I've been purchasing and using Viking machines for over 10 years, and this is honestly the most unprofessional location I have ever been to - the staff seem reluctant to help, and talked down to me as though I wouldn't have the funds or knowledge to be able to use a Viking. I'm not a teenager, I'm in my 30s.

I went into the Joann's on Rainbow to speak with someone in the Viking section. When I approached the lady who was sitting at the desk, I believe I may have stated "I have a question" but I proceeded to tell her my story, she cut me off and annoyingly said "what is your question?" I was trying to tell her the manual that comes with the machine was not in my box. It is possible they did not put the manual in that box...we're all human, and things happen. Ever purchased something that was missing from the box, hardware or the instructions? Anyway I asked about the manual, and she told me I would have to purchase it with a snide look on her face. This lady lacked customer service and people skills. What makes sale people think it's okay to be unprofessional, I'll never know. If you are unhappy and burned out with dealing with the public change profession's. I worked in retail for over 17 years I get it, I also changed my profession so that I would not treat people the way I felt treated. What ever happen to respect, and patience?

I bought a Topaz 40 from Betty and she was super sweet. 1 week later my machine isnt working properly and they say down with me to try to fix the problem but it was more then what both of us could figure out. So they ordered me a new machine and gave me a floor model to use in the mean time. The ladies I've dealt with have been very sweet and helpful.

Rudest staff ever. I can't compare their price to anywhere else but I would gladly pay 5x the price to avoid dealing with these people. If I could give them negative stars I would.

My husband and I first went to the Viking store inside Joann at the Henderson location tonight. They didn't have the serger in stock. We called the N. Rainbow location they said they have it in stock. Both machines I was looking at in Henderson were $100 more at the N. Rainbow location. Ok. I'll keep my $1,200.00 and buy something else from somewhere else. SUPER irritated to drive all the way over here and the price for the SAME machines are different. No thanks!!!!

The staff is always helpful but one very special and talented woman works there her name is Betty! WE JUST LOVE HER
