Villa Italian Kitchen
"Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele’s commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce, and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. From that first Villa Pizza that opened in 1964, next to the CBS/Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway, to nearly 300 Villa Italian Kitchen restaurants later, our commitment to quality and genuine hospitality remains the basis of our foundation."

Wow. There must be absolutely no quality control here because they just served me this pathetic piece of charcoal and called it a garlic knot. Never coming to Villa Italian Kitchen ever again. There are a million better pizza places than this that don't try to slip you a trash piece of burnt to a crisp garlic knot and try to take your hard earned money for it. All three of them were actually burnt but the one on top was the worst. Can't even finish them.
The place is pretty dirty, so much so I didnt even order any food. They get 2 stars simply because they serve beer and wine or else they would get a fat 0 if I could. Staff was friendly for the most part though.
Food is good, but staff needs better training. While I was in line, I saw 2 unsatisfied customers. Simple mistakes that could have been avoided with more organization.
Overall: Not great but okay for a quick stop to pick up pizza but a bit pricey. To start, its all a bit overpriced. They have a lack of communication when filling orders. Pizza is lackluster for the price with the exception of the dough. Multiple topping pizzas have small amounts of toppings. My pepperoni sausage pizza had three pepperoni slices and five pieces of sausage for the whole wide slice that looks like two pieces together. Their buffalo wings taste good as do their garlic twists. Their marinara sauce, however, was very watery. There was one particular employee, didn't catch their name, who seemed to go above and beyond for customers however most of the others aren't going to give good customer service. There was a mix up in our order that delayed our food by a couple minutes that with communication between staff or one staff member following through with one customer order would have been avoided.
First of all customer service sucked so bad my friend left and didn't want to eat there anymore. They didnt greet us, didn't inform us how it worked the first time we were new and confused. They was looking at us and whispering what u want? And started letting people go in front of us in chaos. Mac and cheese and pizza was good. My kids and I enjoyed the food but I wouldn't go back until they improved drastically on customer service. Super overpriced spent almost 40 bucks and ate my food thinking about how bad we had been treated.
Ordered the "big deal" and the pizza was good but the rude cashier did not give us the sauce for our garlic knots! Plus when we tried to order we were totally ignored until my husband had to get the cashiers attention to take our order. We requested to have pizza to go, when served it was not ready to go instead put on a plate and neither were our garlic knots so our pizza came out first and when our garlic knots were finally ready, again not ready to go, just really poor service and will take your money and not even care if your order is right
One of the items we ordered which was spaghetti with meatballs the sauce was so watery it was like water that you can pour out of a glass. The taste was not that good at all. My elderly senior friend she got a salad that she pulled a hair out of it. The Mac and Cheese had no flavor and I had to go to another vendor to get salt to try to help season it up. On top of it when I asked for the receipt, which was not offered to me, I had to go to the manager to get it, because the person checking me out, said they don't give receipts.
Worst $10 ever spent in my life. They microwave everything and it’s all bland and old. Their only associate that had customer service skills was the black dude with the cool glasses and honestly he’s the only reason why I even bought the food. He was super nice! Don’t eat here.
So me and my friends tried to get a full size pizza and asked a worker how much it would cost. He said $7 something and we were happy to order. But then the cashier said it was $17.99 and I was pissed because so looked at the other worker and he started to laugh. Me and my friends were starving so we paid. Later check the check and it was $18.99. I don't know about the $1 difference but that a crew member did that to us made me made. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLAY, THEY HAVE BAD HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR DAY, BECAUSE THEY RUINED OUR DAY.
I have to say this was the worst pasta dish I have ever eaten. Zero flavor, watery, and limp/soupy texture. I hope this was not your best effort and a mistake instead. Looks good in pan at time of ordering and offering to top off with marinate sounded great. But then it all went into microwave and there you go. Salad was fine, server was nice but pasta was terrible, wouldn't finish.
