The quality of the meat is fantastic. The prices are really good considering the sizes and how good the meat is. A $30 steak that we got easily would have been $70-$80 at a steakhouse. We will definitely keep going to the village butcher
Went there a couple of weeks ago after looking for a good grass fed steak around here. After reading the reviews gave them a try and it was definitely worth it. Bought 2 Delmonico's and a strip steak and they were the best steaks I've had in a long time. Just went back today for the bone in ribeye can't wait to grill these up!
The ribeyes here are fantastic!!!! I won’t shop anywhere else for steaks! Every time I go in there, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner Brad is also incredible and has so much pride in his work. Highly recommend!!!
Loved, loved loved the Porterhouse steaks I bought. I've convinced my boyfriend to NEVER buy steaks from the grocery store again. Only the butcher has the best cuts of beef.
My sons and I watch all the big fights, and we always come here and get our steaks on fight-day. Last time I splurged and got the Tomahawks. Kinda pricey at just a tad over $50.00 each. But ohhhhhhhh was it so worth it. These were the best steaks we’ve ever eaten anywhere. Friendly owners. As an added bonus, he carries all the exotics ostrich steaks, kangaroo, elk, and much, much more. You won’t be disappointed in the quality. You get what you pay for. If you just want a $12.00 ribeye that has been through 40 different hands, 12 trucks, 14 different states, frozen, from old cows, etc., then Walmart is the place for you…but if you want fresh-cut-that-day-steaks, then head to Village. You won’t be disappointed…and you’ll taste the difference for sure. The Canelo/Triple-G fight is next Saturday, and we’ll be getting some more Tomahawks for sure. Can’t wait!!
Small cute little butcher shop, but slightly overpriced. Bacon was priced at $15.99 a pound I got 12oz was charged $16.99. Chicken wings were a good price
Super friendly and knowledgeable! Great selection and incredible quality meats! My go to when I’m looking to fire up the grill or just make a delicious dinner!
I have been coming to this small business for about 20 years. Everytime I am looking for that "special" cut of meat/poultry/lobster this is the place to go. I have tried several different butchers but none come close to the Village Butcher shop in quality or variety. If you love lobster tail, all of theirs are 1 lb +. See the results of the one I bought. Mouth watering!! Prices are reasonable and in line with other small business butcher shops.
Excellent quality and service EVERY time. Selection runs the gamut from traditional beef cuts roasts, steaks, etc., chicken, pork and freshly caught shrimp to exotic items like gator. Exceptional, most knowledgeable staff!
40+ years of quality service and meat. It's hard to find this level of perfection when it comes to meat and it's a dying art. The owner takes pride in his work day in and day out. He also has some imported more exotic meats to include alligator and venison.
