Im an Ice Hockey Goalie that suffered from a bilateral labral tear as well as bilateral cam impingement…..I started in June of 2021 seeing Bin. He was amazing but left shortly after only 3 weeks or so, then I switched to Sarah. They both informed me through their expertise that they suspected a core injury in conjunction with my hips. They were right. I informed Sarah I wanted to play my age out year of Juniors and gut it out. They were more than supportive and did everything in their power to help me achieve that. I was able to play pain free for a while after doing therapy over the whole summer. I could barley walk in the beginning of the summer but Sarah had me performing at a high level and I was able to play for a while until I took some heavy contact and my body just couldn’t do it anymore. Sarah guided me through switching surgeons and landed me downstairs with Dr. Meyers and Coleman. I received successful Bilateral hip and bilateral core surgery. I’m now 4 months out of surgery and doing so well solely because of my time upstairs with Sarah and I was able to commit to play college hockey due to my bounce back. I’m now training with Sarah as my personal trainer along side my rehab. There’s no one I trust with my body more or my Physical health than Sarah and the Vincera Clinic. I don’t know what I would have done with out them 100/10 would recommend!
I had a great experience with vincera rehab. The therapist I worked with was great, very knowledgeable and good at coming up with new exercises to keep things interesting over a long rehab process. The rest of the team seems to be just as good. Importantly, it was also an upbeat, fun group to be spending time with. I especially recommend this facility if you are getting a core and/or hip surgery with the Vincera institute downstairs. They have a wealth of experience dealing with recovery from that surgery that really shines through.
I have worked with Vincera rehab, specifically Cara for 6 years I’ve had hip surgeries with Dr Coleman . Core surgery with both Dr Meyers and Poor . The lines of communication between the surgeons , Cara and myself has been just incredible. To be able to have Cara and my surgeons discuss my care the way they do , on a weekly ongoing basis, if needed , is just unheard of . I am always in awe of the care , communication and understanding I receive I live in Florida . I do virtual sessions with Cara at the present time . I have also stayed near Vincera to do rehab with Cara in person post surgeries. Quite a few times . Sometimes I will fly in for a week or two for her hands on therapy to get me to the next level . I am able to schedule phone calls with the surgeons , who will communicate to Cara when something needs to be addressed or discussed .. This is not found anywhere else . The care and expertise from Cara at Vincera rehab not found anywhere else . She is brilliant , caring and Completely dedicated There is no doubt She will do whatever she can to help me achieve the best recovery possible . P
Rachel and the team at Vincera Rehab are absolutely amazing. I was recovering from surgery for a broken leg/destroyed ankle, and Rachel got me up and running literally in no time. Coming from another PT office with limited resources and an older crowd, it was so refreshing to come here and see plenty of young athletes recovering along side of me. The staff there was extremely amicable, and by the end of my time I felt like I had a little second family in the Navy Yard. Cannot recommend Rachel and Vincera Rehab enough!
Fantastic experience!! Our daughter had hip surgery in June and completed her rehab at Vincera PT. She mostly worked with Bin . He was extremely professional, experienced, positive, and kind and a big factor in her recovery back to playing lacrosse! We only wished we knew of Vincera 4 yrs ago when our college athlete son had hip surgery. We can't thank Bin enough for everything!!
The best possible experience! My son had hip and core muscle surgery less than a week ago, and he is recovering amazingly. Cara cares and is an outstanding professional, very Knowledgeable, loving, and dedicated. The communication with her is straightforward, and she is very eager to help. We came from Miami, and she has been doing everything possible to help my son. We will be forever grateful for having her on our side. The fluidity of communication between her and the surgeon Dr. Meyers is excellent, which makes everything A lot easier. Dr. Meyers is unbelievably available and responsive. Vincera's team has been an enormous blessing!
I have had two Core Surgeries in the past 13 years. First one with Doc Myers. He is amazing! After my first surgery, there was no “official “ Vincera Rehab. It was not an easy recovery as the PT places I worked with had no idea what a “core” injury even was. That is a scary thing in itself! Most recently I had a new core injury on my other side. After my surgery with Dr.Poor, who is the greatest guy, and an amazing surgeon, I chose to utilize Vincera Rehab. What you don’t realize, is that this is what they do! They also do it very well. My DPT was Dr. Bin Woo. He is the most genuine person, and he tailored my rehab around my severe systemic arthritis, and adapted to my situation. He also comforted me every step of the way giving me reassurance that every little pain, feeling, or tweak was pretty typical. As far as I’m concerned, Vincera rehab is the best of the best. From calling and making an appointment, to setting up your schedule, they have the process tight! Thanks to the entire team! Make sure you meet Frank too! He’s a great guy! Howard Jahr
I really enjoyed my time rehabbing my knee with Sarah and the Vincera team. She was always professional, organized and friendly. The atmosphere they have created at Vincera makes it easy to come in and get your work done. Sarah always found new ways to push me outside my comfort zone and always encouraged me to keep going. Sarah had me spend hours on the blood flow restriction machine which still gives me nightmares to this day, but I saw major benefits to using this form of training. I would definitely recommend working with the Vincera team if you’re serious about recovery and returning to whatever your normal is - whether that’s professional sports or just your average day to day activities. These guys are truly the best of the best. I struggled with a hip/core injury for months before finding Vincera and am back at full strength thanks to them. Not only are the physical therapists some of the most knowledgable people you will ever meet, they also all show great compassion and care towards their patients. If you need physical therapy, Vincera is the place to go!
Easily the best PT around! Staff is extremely knowledgeable and we'll versed in their practice. After going to Vincera for about two years, everyone there felt like family, making my recovery so much easier. Also, special shout out to Sarah and Bin for guiding me through my recovery process.
