This place has so much promise. But it needs some work. The environment: The place is comfortable, and they have a great patio that we enjoyed. The streets are pretty quiet in the area, so patio tables are quiet enough to talk. The service was good and our server was attentive. Unfortunately, that’s all that was great. The food: The menu choices they offer are so good on paper. We ordered 9 dishes, and most of the items were so bland they could have come from my freezer. Every one of the dishes, delivered at many different times, was lukewarm when it got to the table. Even the dessert, coconut flan, had burned caramel on it. The food was just really poor. The menu is awesome. If they could solve the kitchen problems, this place could attract quite the crowd. Until then, it’s just average and not worth the trip.
Excellent tapas place! The service was so friendly and the food was fantastic and fresh!. I loved everything I ate. Prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommend!
Best spot for brunch, dinner, or even happy hour ! I order the chicken sandwich which was recommended and it was amazing! Their baked potatoes were also amazing then to top it off got a coconut flan which was really really great ! Will come back soon : owners of the restaurant are very kind so you’ll get the best service. Definitely recommended.
A hidden gem in Murray Hill NY. Brunch was amazing! I decided on the apple French toast crunch and my husband had the Hangover pasta. Food and cocktails are fabulous and for $20 more you can drink off their bottomless menu. They are a tapas restaurant which we didn’t get to try yet but if it’s anything like brunch this is the place to hit up. The chef Michael and bartender Kristine are very friendly and personable. The decor is a Spanish decor with a relaxed but fun environment. I would definitely go back here to try it for dinner.
Lovely time. Great restaurant. Staff super friendly and sang Happy Birthday to my friend Prices were just right and with this economy that's wonderful as I spent less than $50.00 and all around pretty good place with a decent vibe. Awesome, good job
Love VinoTapa… Their brunch is delicious and so is their dinner menu. When we lived in the neighborhood it was one of our favorite places to eat. Always the greatest service, drinks and food. Such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The outside seating is also great. Can’t wait to come back home in two weeks & to be able to enjoy a meal at VinoTapa
My favorite place ever in midtown! The nicest staff, and the tastiest food love their marinated goat cheese and calamari. Also the vibes are incredible -- they're always playing great music, and it's a great place to unwind after work. Also great for dates!! Shout-out to Nick, the best waiter! :
The bar and waitstaff were just amazing, friendly, funny, relaxed. They even remembered me from my first visit and gave me warm hellos when I was just walking by. Also had a great cocktail, the Golden Hour, a but pricey at $16 but so delicious and delicately flavored that it’s well worth it.
We were hoping for tapas, but the brunch options turned out to be fantastic. Healthy options like avocado on toast as well as treats like the fried chicken sandwich are both worth trying. The 2hr all-you-can-drink is a good deal for this part of the city $20, but even individual cocktails or beers are very reasonably priced. Outdoor dining is positioned well and has clear plastic separation between seats.
Best wine bar in NYC! Extremely attentive and friendly staff makes you feel at home. Cozy and warm atmosphere, good for groups or dining alone. Great variety of Spanish tapas and wine. Mussels, shishito peppers and pulpo are amazing! No better place!
