Vintage To Vogue

On October 13, 2018 I fell in love with a Persian lamb jacket at this store. I knew it was a vintage piece, but I did not know how vintage it was until the jacket started to fall apart after I brought it home. Because I love the jacket I spent money to get it repaired. The jacket continued to deteriorate after the repair. The owner would not accept the item back nor would refund me. . She might of known the the real condition of jacket, but I will never know. She said I should have noticed the no return signs posted throughout her store but I didn't. I did get a chance to wear the jacket on the day I brought it. After going back-and-forth with the owner and my credit card company for two months. I lost the case. No refund. Stuck with a jacket that is falling a part due to fur rot. Buyer be aware of her non-refund policy. Don't let falling in love with an item keep you from purchasing from this store. You may be very disappointed. You may be out of money and have nothing to show for it. i gave her a sizable donation and she accepted gladly.. I hope she uses the money well and pays it forward because the money received does NOT belong to her. Nothing like stealing with eyes wide open. And to make it worse, she gloated with pride because she got away with it. Good job lady. May karma catch with her. Her returning remark was “I have no problem with karma.”

I was there last week and stopped in out of curiosity. The salesperson was a sweetheart. She even let me look in the closed store next door. There are lots of TRUE VINTAGE items here! Some from the 40's. If you're a collector you must check it out. The prices were reasonable too. Some designer goods at fair prices such as Gucci and MK brand. No pressure just friendly chatter. I bough a NEW gorgeous shawl. I don't know why people here berated this shop. I'll definitely go back! note to owner: you should remove your nasty rebuttal to the review below. It makes you look BAD! thanks

If I could give the owner of this shop a negative 5 star I would, not only did one of the clerks claim the bag was an original when it clearly was not, but the owner felt the needs to yell out in front of everyone to not look inside the bag at the stitching because I would tear it... She said is not an original among other rude remarks wich I will not repeat because Unlike her I have class, she has a lot to learn about retail, customer service and overall people skills... I feel sorry for you, because at your age you will probably never learn... Her merchandise was poor, falsely advertised and lacking... The store is awful, if you believe in overall honesty and good buys dont buy from this store. Like Intold her, her bag, My money... You have a nice day sweetie...spend the few years you have left getting some culture and class on you... We cannot help where we came from but we can help the quality of people we are now...

Well i had spoken to the owner of the place a couple of days before I had made the trip there by bus from providence about selling her a really nice 3 piece suit that I own so she had told me to come down on Saturday between 12 and 3 and that she would gladly buy it from me.So I get there and I speak to the gentleman that was working there that day and he called herthe ownershe then Tells him that she doesn't want the Suit anymore.Well I call the store back Cause the guy that was there recommended somewhere else And I get the owner well after she says that she felt bad about me coming all the way from providence by bus she then hangs up on me well Like one personon here had said that if they could give less than one Star they would well so wouldn't I, I'd actually give them a big fat 0 they suck I mean all I wanted for the thing was $20 or $30 for it it is after all an italian designed 3 piece that retails for around $200.00 and some change.

We loved this store! My sisters and I enjoyed the one of a kind items, made the woman of HB Millwork very happy!
