I had a very positive experience buying my brand new professional level trombone at Virtuosity. It turned out that the horn had some manufacturer’s defects. Steve Johnson and his team of professionals at Virtuosity processed the problem with the manufacturer and replaced the horn. I’m so glad that I bought my horn at a reputable musical instrument dealer, and not online, because the personal customer service made all the difference. It’s a good feeling to know I can confidently go to Virtuosity for ongoing advice and future service.

Virtuosity is a world-class brass and woodwind store. From their incredible selection of products to their knowledgeable and friendly staff, folks in Boston do not know how lucky they are to have such an awesome music store in their town. And if that weren't enough, they have cold brew coffee on tap and a new espresso maker. If you are in Boston or are just passing through, make sure you stop in!

My son was looking for a new trombone. He said that they were fantastic to deal with. They were very helpful and didn't push him to buy anything. He ended up getting it at Virtuosity based on the employees who were helping him.

This is the best music store I've ever seen regarding brass instruments. Absolutely recommend this fabulous store to every brass player! Very big veriety of new and really rare brass instruments, especially trumpets! You can try and buy new, used or trade your instruments here. Ther is not a lot of mouthpieces unfortunately. But a lot of accessories like mutes, stands etc. Good "fitting" room allows you to compare instruments properly. Very friendly and helpful staff, thank you guys!

Steve, the owner, and Brett, the woodwind specialist, are consumate professionals. They are dedicated to making sure that when you visit you are taken care of as well as answering any questions that you may have. My daughter tried 6 clarinets out before making her decision. She is very happy as are we with the decision she made as well as taking the three hour trip to Boston for the purchase. Thank you again for making us feel welcome and we will continue to do business with you as she pursues her music minor in college.

An amazing place to get your instrument repaired! Everyone there is so knowledgeable and super helpful. Shout out to Trevor McCoy for helping us. He was able to figure what was wrong with our trombone in 10 minutes and helped us make a plan to fix it. 10/10 can’t recommend enough.

This is an outstanding music store. They have an amazing selection of brass instruments, and the staff is knowledgeable, pleasant, and very helpful. Also, they are very professional, and their customer service is exceptional. I have a 20-year-old Romeo Adaci custom trumpet they serviced for me. They did an exceptional job on it.
