The best company I have ever worked for. The owner and director are understanding that life happens. A company that makes you feel part of an actual family instead of just a job. I’m comfortable and confident that I can go to them about anything work related and they actually care and will do their part to help. I also work with some of the best families through this company and I’m just thankful all the way around for being part of the VA Family! I highly recommend Visiting Angels for any caring and motivated person wanting to work in this field & any families in need of home care. I began working as a Visiting Angel in July of 2022. I've worked in many areas of health care and prior to joining Visiting Angels I worked in a small assisted living facility in my city of Sioux Falls, SD. I wanted to slow down a bit and work in an environment which would allow me to spend more quality time with the people I serve. Shortly after becoming one of the Visiting Angels my mother passed away. Throughout her brief illness and funeral the office staff were very supportive and understanding of my need to be off work. I absolutely love the flexibility of working by myself and choosing any extra shifts I might like to work. The office staff are available if I need to discuss an issue and answer any questions I might have. Each week I see the same people; in addition I do fill in extra where needed with other agency clients. I like the fact that I've gotten to know the people I serve each week; I also enjoy getting to know their families. Overall I'm so grateful to have been given the opportunity to become one of the Visiting Angels and look forward to my continued work for the company in the future.
I have been "an angel of Sioux Falls, SD" for 2 years and I love the job, staff and other angels I have met. There is transparency and interest in how staff interacts with other staff as well as most importantly clients. Jessica, Travis and Katelyn are good examples for all of us. They are not afraid to say to employees, "great job, we appreciate you." And to them, I say "Great job and thank you for hiring me."
Visiting Angels is by far the best home health care provider in the area. The staff and agency are wonderful people who actually care about others. It has been a blessing to be a part of such a God-focused team of caregivers!
The aid was sleeping on the job and fraudulently recording more mileage than it takes. I have video recording of the aid sleeping on the job.i called to tell the company about the sleeping and they said it's hard to find good help.

I have been a caregiver for the Sioux Falls Visiting Angels Franchise for nearly three years. As an employee I feel valued, respected, and heard. The staff has a policy that is well-written and fair. I love working for Visiting Angels because it is extremely fulfilling. I have been placed with clients who have become like family to me.

So far, I'm very pleased working for visiting angels. They staff are prompt, and helpful. They seem to truly care about the care their giving. They were able to find me someone to work with to help right away.
