VO2 Vegan Cafe

What an amazing amazing place! My husband and I came here for brunch on his birthday, for the first time, and everything we tried was simply delicious. We got the Tofurky melt, Captains Breakfast, and the Spicy monkey smoothie and they were all phenomenal. Will come back again and again to try everything on the menu! Highly recommended! Decent prices and good atmosphere! Laid back cafe because it's easy to order, staff is friendly, and you can eat in or take out.

Honestly, it was... fine. I had the vegan Ruben, with BBQ seitan, and I found the pieces were just cut too big for the sauce to really soak in. So I just ended up chewing through not-very-seasoned hunks of seitan. My friend did really enjoy her chuna melt, though, so it looks like some menu items are more successful than others. Also, this is a relatively minor thing, but kind of a pet peeve of mine: there are no prices listed on the menu board. To see the price of anything, you have to grab a paper or laminated menu. Maybe this isn't a big deal to some people, but I find this kind of alienating. Like they're assuming money must not be a factor for their customers.

Very rude staff - huffing and puffing as you order. Even though I enjoy the food, I cannot stand the staff who are so rude. I go on the weekends so perhaps the manager isn't there at these times.

Great food, friendly service, free WiFi, restroom. Loved the north end sandwich and it was 8.79 almost ten with taxes

So I order a smoothie, a sandwich and a quiche. I never received my quiche, I waited 30 minutes for my sandwich and when they call my name for it I hear them in the background bitching about my name and how they don't want to call it out because it's weird. Like I'm right here, I can hear you! So rude. The sandwich was nothing amazing and I didn't like the smoothie.
