A hidden gem! I had time to kill while the wife had oral surgery so I went to Vons for lunch. The woman working the counter was very friendly and even the people picking up ‘to go’ orders were telling what their favorite menu items where. I got the spicy sauce which was sweet and spicy but not too hot. This place is NOT setup for sit-down diners but had a couple of chairs at a ledge counter. I will be back!
The chicken wings are super tasty, nicely crisp. I got the rice cake as well. That’s was a bit spicy. I didn’t really care for the corn, but did taste like out of a can
I walk or bike by this place on my way to work several times a week. Every time I have to resist the urge to stop in -- it's that good. I've tried their garlic chicken and spicy fried wings. Expect to wait 15-20 minutes, since its always made to order. The foods crispy and perfectly prepped. I recommend this place on your cheat day!
Delicious chicken. Very expensive. A 10 peice flats and small drumsticks cost $16- no side or drink.
Try the Crispy Seasoned mild or hot Fried Korean Chicken. It's so very good, I haven't tried the other menu items yet, as I keep getting this one, but I will in time. There is a wait for your chicken but that means it is being made the right way: Fresh and hot to order and it is well worth the wait. Vons also has a location in the wonderful Shirokiya Japan Village Walk, on the first floor of the Ala Moana Shopping Center.
This chicken hits pretty hard. It is definitely good reasonable priced quick eats Wheelchair accessibility: It's a hole in the wall right off Pensacola street level or waimalu shopping center whelk chairs can roll right in
Love the shoyu chicken! As for leftovers, having an air fryer makes them taste just as good as when I first brought them home!
Twice they shorted me on food items. They list one thing on the menu and then change the amount of food or dont give you the items that they list in the combo. I discovered it when I was already at the hotel.. Too bad because I like their food, but I didn't get what I paid for, twice. I'm traveling interisland all the time and stay near often, but won't be going to this place again, gave them a couple chances already.
So, what is a vegan doing here? My Taiwanese wife and daughter love, let's be specific, only the shoyo Chicken wings. I learned the hard way. This place is not cheap. Owner is Korean, however, Asians in general like the food. Seems it can be adictive...like Chicken Feet...geeez!Food: 5/5
Ordered through Uber Eats. Had the Crispy Fried BBQ Chicken in Spicy for lunch and it's so good! I want to try other flavours next time.
