Improv + the most incredible mentalist we have ever seen! Shane met us at the door, ushering us in and making us feel welcome even though we were running a few minutes late. The opening improv show was fantastic. The actors were warm and friendly. The second act, Professor Phelyx blew my mind! His stage presence shows how much he loves his craft. We couldn’t stop talking about what a fun, inspiring and amazing experience it was to watch Professor Phelyx. He is here at RISE on the fourth Saturday of each month. We would highly recommend going to see him. Mind blown!
Scheduled a group workshop with RISE for a business conference we were hosting in town... I cant express to you how much my entire group RAVED about the workshop. Their favorite part of the event, especially since we coupled it up with attending some Improv shows at RISE the following night. Steve and Alex were phenomenal with my group- it opened everyone up, got them out of their shells, and they all said it had massive impact on takeaways they'll be bringing back to how they interact with their teams at their businesses. So grateful for the help and support in organizing the events too- it was fantastic! Can't wait to bring back our next group. -Morgan Knox Director, Pro Painter Network
The team from Crafted visited RISE for a corporate event. We came in with few expectations, but hoping for a good time. Steve led the class that we all took. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed it and got even more out of it than we were hoping for. I highly recommend RISE for a corporate event! It was really great for team building and bonding.
This place is extremely special to me because it helped get me through COVID from a mental health perspectives I’ve taken both 101 and 201 improv classes there. The instructors are top notch and there’s an authentic sense of community. Lots of shows and classes almost every night of the week. Make sure to come out on Thursdays at 6pm for drop in classes only $11 and all are welcome and then stay for the Jam right after at 8pm free, but please buy drinks to keep this place in business!
Had a great time with the team at Rise for an improv class with our group. SO good. Lots of fun and laughs. Brought us together and helped us get to know each other. Then we enjoyed a musical comedy improv show the net night. So fun to see them in action. Very talented. We all had a great time. Not really family friendly if you know what I mean. But now you have been warned.
Steve recently led an improv class for a corporate training we had and it was excellent. He really helped out team connect with each other, improve communication, and most importantly feel more comfortable being ourselves together. I haven't been to an actual RISE show in a while, but after our great experience with Steve, I'll make it a point to get to a show in the near future!
Steve Wilder is amazing! He helped my teammates and I with several of his team tactic exercises and we had a blast! Not only you learn from one another, but you learn how to work in teams with outstanding verbal and body language communication.
Our team hired Steve to come to our office and do a two hour improv class. Before it began, everyone seemed pretty nervous and out of their comfort zone but by the end we were screaming funny bunny to the top of our lungs! The things we learned not only broke down our barriers and got us comfortable with each other, but will be something that we joke around with for the years to come. I highly recommend Steve for any and all corporate events. Thanks so much for your presence & words of wisdom, Steve!
I've never done an Improv class before. I had the opportunity to work with Steve and my immediate team at work. WOW! what an experience, Steve is immensely passionate about his craft. I walked away a different person and will take the lessons learned with me for the rest of my life. I try to blur the line between my labor and my leisure every day...Steve, thank you for pushing me closer to that mental state moving forward. I can't thank you enough, what an impact you made. Keep doing what you DO!
I went to the Wednesday class! It was a very accepting, supportive group and the teacher is so quick on her feet and knew what she was talking about. I learned so much! Awesome first experience for stand-up
