Great Shop! Very personal service. I live in Madison Wisconsin but I'm in Milwaukee a lot. Visited Wade's shop and decided to have him do some the work I wanted done. New neck, pups, setup and.... Very happy with his service. Setup feels great, pup height is right on, and he even did a bit of a fret dress on the new neck. Oh, thought my neck pocket was off but was only a 35$ bridge problem! Well worth the hour plus drive!

I feel very grateful and fortunate to have found Wade’s Guitar Shop when we were visiting Milwaukee for the weekend in September. We wanted to check out the north part of town and I spotted Wade’s as we were driving by. I stopped in while the rest of my party went to get food, and I’m glad I did! I met the owner Wade and had a nice conversation with him to learn about his store and services, and to tell him about my guitars. I learned that not only is he an expert guitar luthier, it was very apparent that he really listens to and cares about his customers. It doesn’t surprise me that he’s been in business so long. I ended up buying a used electric guitar while I was there because it was set up to play really well and the price was just right. Without that great setup that I learned they do on the used guitars, I would not have bought it spur of the moment like that. Lastly, I talked with Wade about two big guitar customization projects. The guitar luthiers I spoke with in Illinois where I live were unenthusiastic to do these projects, but Wade was the opposite. It really shows that he loves what he does. So I just picked up the first of the two guitar projects and I am so happy with how it turned out! I look forward to seeing the second guitar when it’s ready and also taking two Les Pauls to Wade. It is definitely worth it to me to drive the 90 minutes to his shop, and then get something to eat in Milwaukee. Thank you so much, Wade!

My beginning guitar teacher at UWM suggested we check out Wade’s and I’m so glad I took his advice! I’m a complete novice so this whole thing felt very overwhelming and intimidating. But lucky for me, Alex was super chill and helped me find the perfect guitar for my small frame. He set me up with literally everything I need a bag, picks, a tuner, a humidifier, and my text book. They have a buy-back option they’ll pay you half of what you paid that ends up being less expensive than renting a guitar. I highly recommend Wade’s and will be back for accessories/advice.

Wade the owner was very friendly and informative. I got a Great deal on a hollow body 335 and amp. He even threw in a 10 ft. instrument cable & a pack of new strings. Great experience, I will be going back.

Can't say enough good things about Wade's. They do great repair and setup work. They're friendly and knowledgeable. You just tell them the issue or what you want done and they'll explain your options and what it will cost. Their prices are very reasonable and they never try to sell you something you don't need. I've taken my jazzmaster there for years and they've done stellar work every time.

In all the Many Years I have been this place,I have always had the Greatest Experience!!! Wade and his Son Rock! So, if you need a new Guitar, or you need a repair done, this is the place! SUPERMEN WORK AND ROCK HERE!!!!!

Brought my boyfriend to Wade’s today to pick out an acoustic guitar for his birthday. I don’t know anything about guitars and my bf didn’t know where we were going since it was a surprise, but I saw the great reviews online and took a chance. Wade and Kidd were so friendly and knowledgeable and my boyfriend walked out a happy birthday boy with a brand new guitar. We also got new strings, which Wade kindly changed for us while we were there. Great experience, great people. 10/10 recommend!

I’ve been going here for years and I can’t say enough how honest and helpful the guys are at Wade’s. My mom bought my first guitar here almost two decades ago and I hope to do the same with my kids. I just wanted to share my appreciation after another great experience there today when I picked up a wall mount and my guitar after a setup. Keep up the great work guys!

My Westone electric guitar's gain knob completely went out. Brought it into Wade's and they had it completely fixed in a matter of minutes. Will be coming here often in the future for repairs and gear.

Took my guitar in for a minor repair, and Wade fixed it straight away, at a fair price. This is a small shop, not a chain, and these stores I try to patronize because I'm pretty old school myself. Highly recommended shop.
