Waffle House

I've never been to a waffle house before until now. My man Tristen was the manager at the moment and him and his crew served my wife and I some good ole southern hospitality. Can't wait to eat here again next year!

When you come in you know already how filthy this place. The kitchen looks like not been clean forever. See photo attached and even the coffee mug still have lipstick mark on it. Disgusting waffle house I ever been.... We didn't eat I can't stand eating this place.Food: 1/5

Ashton was our server. He was very respectful, attentive and has a bright future ahead. Sarah was supervising and cooking. She spoke very kindly to the employees, heard her praise them, calmly teach and offer constructive criticism without public humiliation. There was no arguing or bickering amongst the crew. Even though they were short staffed heard that someone had called in, they were happy and getting the job done. The food was on point, everything just as we ordered. This was literally the best Waffle House experience we’ve ever had. Thank you!

The food was good. We had a new server but he did a good job. But the other workers in there were awful. One by the name of Angie and another shorter white lady were absolutely unpleasant. They complained and bad talked customers trying to come in and eat. But they were still cooking food for other people......but were not taking to go orders or new customers. They turned away about 10 people if not more. Complained about having to work doubles. There were 4 of them in there. As a manager myself......in my opinion......you can pick up the slack. If your employees aren't showing up..... fire them and hire others. And said If the customers didn't like it they could go find another waffle house to eat at. It was awful sitting there trying to eat with my family and they only had awful things to say. I am going to stop going to this waffle house. I'll stick with going to the ones in brandon.

The dirtiest restaurant that I have been to! Plus the customer service was the worst! The server had a terrible attitude, then stood right there staring at me while I ate. If she wasn't Black, I would have surely said that she was racist, but she was as Black as me. Totally reminded of the character Stephen from Django! Plus the grits was cold and I found a piece of bacon or something in there! I showed her what I found, paid, and left! Not sure how this place is still open!

I love going to the waffle house, but the one l went to today was not that great. We walked in, and no one greeted us, so we stood and waited to be seated. After waiting a few minutes and looking around blank-faced, a lady finally told us to sit where ever you wanted. I went to the restroom; the trashcan was overflowing with trash, garbage was in the sink, and it smelled weird. The kitchen area had napkins all over the counters and on the floor. I also noticed the cooks were not wearing hair nets. After receiving our food, the hashbrowns were not cooked thoroughly; basically, it was raw. Eggs also could have been cooked more, and one waffle was burnt. One of us asked for grits originally, but the waitress told us, "I wouldn't get that if I were you," in so many words. Then we had to wait to pay because the workers were talking and ignoring us.

We got in and decided to eat before we went to the hotel unfortunately the 2 workers that were there decided that their Waffle House was closed. I tugged at the front door and they had locked it. The following morning decided to go back and found out that it shouldn't have been closed the people that they had working had taken it upon themselves to close up shop. We had the greatest waitress and the food was awesome!!!

VERY bad staff. Ones names is Madison with the bright red hair and a little on the heavier side. We went in around 7:30pm on 12/5/2022. Three adults and two kids. We ordered an angus bacon cheese burger, a regular cheese burger, a kids cheese burger, and a Texas bacon chicken melt. Didn’t receive our drinks until we asked them for them about 20 minutes after sitting down. Received no silver ware until after food came out so waffle was cold. No straws. Had to remind them of EVERYTHING! Even what we ordered. It took 40 minutes for our country ham to come out when that’s usually the first thing out. They forgot about it so we had to remind them. We were the only customers in there. When we came in the girl was laid up at one of the tables with her stuff everywhere and it remained there the whole time. We went to pay and the guy that had our ticket walked out about 45 minutes ago so I had to tell them what I ordered and I still got over charged. It was a bunch of 17 and 18 year olds running it. They couldn’t stay off of their phones and were all over each other. I’ve always gone to this Waffle House since I was in diapers but never again unless the staff are different. Where’s Cory when we need him!! Absolutely worst experience ever! I would like a refund but I know that won’t happen.

There were beer bottles all lined up on the bricks by the door. Inside guys had their hoodies pulled down over their heads. The place was unbearably cold, freezing , it was cold outside but it was colder in the restaurant. We waited over 20 minutes for the dingy waitress to take our order, and I didn't appreciate how she was acting when she finally started waiting on us.

after lots and lots of trying to talk about getting it right. Over charged us on everything, way too short on staff maybe because the tables were all dirty, service was slow, and the food took a while. Then our waitress was very rude about everything and had to remind her to bring any things over and over again.Food: 2/5
