No meat, but the soy sausage patties are surprisingly good. Flavor & spice, not hot taste wise, not temperature the sausage on the croissant flaky & fresh bfast sandwich was good. Satisfied my hunger. Family member got the pb & chocolate waffle & really enjoyed it. Flavorful! I would go back.
I freakin love this place and their red velvet waffle! I recommend it to everyone. Customer service is great, good coffee, and that waffle! Mmmm
The Blueberry waffle was a bit underwhelming. Yogurt and blueberries was not that thrilling. The peach waffle and salmon omelet was good tho. Got chastised by the lady behind the counter for asking to throw something away as there were no trash recepticals walking up. Because it's blessed apparently I can't do that. But it was done... she took an opportunity to tell me off for 3 minutes about something that wasn't that serious. I am Very sensitive to others religions and cultures, so respect. But what you cannot do is talk down to people because they didn't know your customs. A simple no would have been better than the onslaught of "listen to everything I have to say about you asking to throw something in the trash." The entitlement. And I was patronizing your business. Never again. Thanks though.
Nothing impressive. Service was really good and very friendly people. Food was just ok. Pancakes were really dry and not soft. Omelette was really good, fluffy and cooked perfectly. I thought the prices were really high for the quality of the food. Spending over 50 dollars for two people to eat breakfast is pretty ridiculous. We only got two entrees, a order of pancakes to split, coffee and lemonade. Also they don’t offer any meat, breakfast without bacon, ham, or sausage just doesn’t seem right. It’s worth checking out but I wouldn’t go expecting the best breakfast experience and also get ready to bust out your wallet.
Delicious food, great service! We went to Waffles On Maple for bunch multiple times over our vacation and loved everything we tried, especially the Loaded Jazzy Potatoes.Food: 5/5
Gluten free offerings have gotten better and better each time I've come here. If there are a lot of customers, for may take a while not due to fault of the staff. They take care when making each order, but I think the number of seats and volume of orders can easily max out the kitchen on a busy morning. That being said, the servers are very helpful & don't mess around. If they are out of something they admit it and offer workarounds or alternatives with what they have, which I find refreshing. If they run out of something, rest assured it is because it sells too well! Gluten free beignets, biscuits, and crepes are so with the wait!
I ordered with them from uber eats, paid $6.50 for a "large" frozen coffee, and received half a cup, to charge that much and not even provide the full cup has me highly upset. I would of never accepted and paid for this had i realized what id realisticly receive. The walking in new orleans waffle was good especially the rum sauce, "crispy potatoes" had a good flavor but werent crispy a bit undercooked from the explanation and pictures they presented in terms to what i received. My biggest disappointment is paying so much for the smallest amount of frozen coffee ive ever seen anywhere before, and only filling half the cup, how can this be okay to serve your customers?!
It is a little drive from downtown New Orleans. We went at the perfect time, as it was not very busy, so we did not have to wait to be seated. Once we were there, the place got very crowded. I feel they are a bit short-staffed. Customers have to place their order at the counter and once we received our food we did not get much service after that. The food was good, I had the waffle sampler. Think this is the best way to try both sweet and savory waffles. The sweet waffles are my favorite. I do not think they serve meat at this restaurant, they do have a nice vegan sausage, but that is really not my thing.
This place has nice employees but horrible food. First, they charge $3.99 for a cup of coffee no refills and the coffee tastes like WATER! Then, you'd think a place that has "Waffles" on it would know how to make waffles? Think again! The "savory" waffle was made of store bought cornbread mix and served with a dry as can be egg on top done. The dryest meal that even syrup couldn't fix. Next up, we have an "omelette" that coincidentally also is served dry good thing I ordered a side of salsa for $1 because that's the only thing that gave it flavor as everything else was poorly cooked. The grits were great tho, which says a lot about the chefs cooking abilities when the best part of the meal is store bought easy grits and syrup. Plus, coffee flavored water for $3.99! Come eat here if you like giving your money away to great business men, but terrible cooks. PS. It'd be great festival tent street food, if the prices were halved. I literally wish I went to IHop instead, and I hate IHop.
