Great location and super helpful staff. Shelves are always stocked with what you need. I especially want to shout out Will who is one of the best customer service people I’ve ever come across!
When picking up my prescription I was met with an incredibly rude response from the pharmacist with numerous mouth piercings whose name I can’t recall. Not only was she rude and extremely condescending but she lied point blank to my face in an attempt to get me to stop asking her questions. Not even for a second wondering if by chance she was wrong and did not understand the situation. So unprofessional, I’m hugely disappointed and will be taking my medication elsewhere.
Rude, they kept hanging up on me in the second drive thru. I received the wrong medication and had already waited my turn a minute prior, but I could not get a word in to explain. Took pushing the button 7 times to say anything to them. So thoughtless. Looking for a new pharmacy now. Would go to cvs if they had less managerial issues.
Shout out to Fridah! We had to get seasonal vaccines and she made it super fast and painless. Thanks again!
Finding a pharmacy open these days can be a real challenge. Finding a Pharmacist willing to help like the gentleman at 75th and Metcalf, Overland Park store did today? Nearly impossible. He went above and beyond for me today. I started with a phone call to him this morning, and he was very helpful. I ended the night with him in the aisle, picking the best medicine for my son that wouldn't cause him to have an allergic reaction. He did all he could to help me when I could not get the prescription we needed. Throughout the multiple interactions during the day, he exhibited exemplary customer service. He had a natural ability to communicate information and proactively conversed with me to make sure I understood. He actually took the time the time and never made me feel like I was a burden or that he was too busy. What was most impressive was the evidence of his compassion to a stranger on the other side of the phone from the very beginning. Thank you for having a Pharmacist like Martin on your team. Thank you for being open until 10 o'clock on a Sunday night in Kansas. It made a significant difference in mine and my son's health tonight.
Don't even bother making a vaccine appointment here. I was scheduled and checked in and they were serving walk-ins before me.
We had good experiences with this pharmacy, as well as the retail portion of the store. A special shoutout to poised and professional pharmacist Karman, as well as the pharmacy techs. They were able to quickly provide us with caring and excellent service.
I had to take the time to recognize this Walgreens location. I have gone to many different ones over the years and this one exceeds my expectations with the customer service I have received from every member of their pharmacy staff. They are always kind and friendly, ALWAYS!! The pharmacist even take the time to make sure I am saving the most money by looking up the GoodRX-price compared to the price my insurance covers for my prescriptions, wow!! All I can say is I am one happy customer and I hope the management knows about how well this pharmacy staff treats their customers, they are Top Notch!!!
UPDATE APPROX 36 HOURS LATER This happened Thursday evening, today is Saturday at 12:46 pm I didn't receive a message that my order was ready until Friday at around 10:00 am. The is the SAME order that I was asked to wait for, twice, Thursday evening. And they also said that my inhaler is now out of stock and I have to wait a few days. I requested this inhaler on Wednesday evening, and I had a refill available. Why is it now Saturday afternoon, and I still don't know when I'll have it. Now, let me say, someone called me from Walgreens yesterday after my first review. I didn't call back. I was really trying to manage my anxiety and I knew that would probably upset me. The truth is that Walgreens is a deeply flawed company. It's not the employees fault that they don't work in an environment that prioritizes quality customer service. One of my main issues with Walgreens is that one time, my auto refill of my antidepressants was mailed to me from an AZ location and NO ONE could tell me why. It took 4 while days to get to me and it made me have to go 3 days without my medication. You should never quit an antidepressants cold turkey. And still no one ever told me how or why that happened. I'm old and things have changed. Maybe no one cares. As a person who relies on their medications, this is impactful. I'm sure it won't change in any long term or meaningful way, and I'll probably keep going there for insurance reasons. It's hard to feel victimized by those that should care about you. It just makes me feel like I've tried to get resolution every time something bad happens, and I've been blown off over and over. It is too little, too late. But they won't lose money because I have to go there for now. Win/win for them. I don't matter. ORIGINAL POST AUGUST 18TH I transferred my prescriptions here in 2020 from Walmart, and I have only had a series of negative experiences with Walgreens since then. I'd give 0 stars if I could. DON'T GO HERE. Yesterday, I went to pick up refills I requested 24 hours before. It was 1 bottle of pills and 1 inhaler. I was told that the prescriptions aren't filled in that location and they didn't have my refills, BUT she specifically told me that they could go ahead and fill them if I could wait 20 minutes. It was at the end of my day, and I really wanted to go home, but I forced myself to wait in the parking lot. When I returned to the window 25 minutes later, she asked for my name and when she saw me, she left the window and sent an overly friendly man to help me. He said it wasn't ready and he couldn't tell me when it would be ready. I could have screamed!! I told him that I was told it would be ready and he was just like, "it's not ready, it will be a while, they are working on it". It was 1 bottle of pills and 1 inhaler. I told him I could have been home by now but I waited because she told me to!! He just said it wasn't ready. I asked why she told me that and he didn't know. I am so sick of this place!!! DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY IF YOU CARE ABOUT BEING TREATED FAIRLY. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENT CARE! This is the worst customer service I've ever had and I can't find a single person who cares. They will lie to your face and gaslight you. I am so angry! P.S. I work in the medical field, and I have specific experience working in pharmacies. I know what it's like to be a pharmacy tech. It was always my personal goal to overestimate wait times. People will hold you to your word, and if you think it will be 20 minutes, you say it will be 30 minutes, and if it's done early it will be a nice surprise. I am speaking from experience as a patient and someone who works in the medical field.
I was hunting for some melatonin tablets for a friend and just wanted to give a shout out to Tammy, who was really helpful.
