I am fascinated at the fact that Walgreens refuses to give full refunds for something that they messed up with their photography system. If you alter your photos to 8 x 10 don’t expect to get the actual 8 x 10 photo the system crops it off you’re not aware of this if you’re ordering 200+ photos you assume that is going to give you what you ask for but it doesn’t so you go back to get your photos done correctly only to have to pay for it twice!! I think that’s ridiculous when it was a mistake on Walgreen’s behalf I really would like my refund but I don’t think I will be coming back to this Walgreens because the associate so no compassion or empathy you can even fake concern that she just didn’t care and that’s one of the main factors of me writing this review. Today is September 11 on a Sunday. And when I came in two days ago the associate name Sherrion was very nice she was patient and kind l
I have visited this Walgreens pharmacy a few times now to refill a prescription because my primary Walgreens has been out of stock on the medication I need, and I've been so impressed with the customer service I've received at this location--especially compared to other pharmacies in town. I'm not exactly phased at this point when pharmacists are blatantly rude or seem perturbed that you're there... trying to fill a simple prescription. But I've interacted with multiple pharmacy staff during my visits to the Walgreens Vulcan location and have never experienced anything short of absolute friendliness and kindness. The staff seem to actually enjoy their jobs and care about their customers. In fact, when I was there earlier today, I witnessed an example of a customer coming through the drive-through requesting to say "hi" to a specific pharmacist by name, and she was of course delighted to pop over and say hello. The staff smile and make jokes with one another not in an unprofessional way at all, and they really make your time at the counter feel pleasant. I've come in towards the end of the day before, and I could tell that the pharmacist was whooped, but she was still so pleasant and professional--not showing a trace of "I really wish I could just go home" attitude. I honestly only ever leave reviews when I've had an exceptionally positive, or outstandingly negative, experience with a business, and I absolutely could not neglect to leave one for the pharmacy team here. Oh, and beyond being above and beyond when it comes to personal relations, they're speedy as well! All to say, even though this location is technically a bit further from my home, I'm sold on making it my primary pharmacy.
Most staff is nice but there are many that are very rude and make you feel like an inconvenience and not friendly.
Pharmacy isn't great at communication, waited 30 minutes for a flu shot i scheduled online just to leave without one. My insurance is on file, but it didnt go through for some reason
The absolute worst experience at the pharmacy. They tried to give me the wrong person’s medication, then said my card was declined - I had already paid online - then said “nothing” was ready for me but I could see my medication in a bin behind the associate. When this was brought to her attention, she threw it in the drawer and walked away. They are the rudest most incompetent people I have ever dealt with.
So hard to get in touch with and so slow! I registered for a free 24hr covid test yesterday. I pulled up behind the car already being served at the window; it took another twenty minutes for them to serve that car and get to me. I don't know how long she'd been there already. Fast forward 30+ hours later and I haven't recieved my test results yet. I just spent an HOUR on hold for them to drop my calls *twice!* After the first call drop, I called back and got moved to the back of the queue. Waited 40 minutes to get dropped again. I understand being understaffed makes getting to everyone difficult, but this is ridiculous and unacceptable! Still no test results.
The pharmacist are compassionate, knowledgeable & work with the patient to find the best costs, potential drug interactions, etc. May & Amber just to name two are some of the kindest & intelligent pharmacists I’ve worked with. Their attention to detail & patient care gives this chain pharmacy a very personal experience.
Good location, big parking lot, but they need to hire friendlier/happier people. Today I had to search for someone to check me out because no one was at the main front register. When she finally got there she said nothing, only grunted when I said good morning. No welcome, no smile, no good morning. Her first and only words were to ask if I had a rewards card. C’mon Walgreens, these are your ambassadors to the public. Train them to be nice. Your pharmacist is great! Have them shadow her.
This location has the best employees in the pharmacy in my opinion. They found my rx at my old Walgreens had it reversed and filled it plus they called me personally and let me know they were filled!
I have been using this pharmacy for several years. I have had just a few minor negative experiences during this time. Most of the time I was comfortable with the service. Today was a different story. I called about an hour before they closed to finalize 2 scrip. orders. I called at this time because I had tried several times in the past week and today to get thru to someone on the phone, but had too long of a hold time each time. I thought it might be less busy at 7pm. The woman who answered, who I believe was the pharmacist on duty, had a disrespectful tone a couple of times during the call. I mentally excused her then drove to pick up my orders almost immediately. When I arrived the assistant, who was one of the distasteful encounters I've witnessed in the past, was working the drive thru. I told her I needed the pills cut in the required dose which I'd gotten done many times before without problems. It usually doesn't take very long to do as well. I went to wait across the lot when I saw a multitude of cars arriving at the drive thru right before closing time. 15 or so minutes had elapsed and it was closing time by that time so I decided to drive back over to the window to pick up my meds. When I arrived the tech ignored me for about a minute or 2 and then she mouthed something to me without the microphone and immediately walked away out of my sight. I could not make out what she said, of course. I continued to wait patiently. Within that time the pharmacist walked over and in a scolding tone told me to tell her ahead of time I needed them cut. I informed her I did not because I was informed in the past not to do that because I must pay for them before they are cut. She then continued her scolding by telling me "Well it's just so late." Omg...are you not still open for business when I arrived 15 to 20 minutes prior? And it doesn't take that long to cut them. And I would of done it sooner if I could of gotten someone on the telephone without a long hold time every time I called! That response was rude, unprofessional and unfair and I did nothing wrong. How dare her and that tech or whatever she is treat a good customer this way. I have always been fair and courteous to the staff. I have already found another pharmacy and will pull my business out of there tomorrow. Thanks for reading Hope this helps!
