The service in this store is so bad it's just unbearable. Only the pharmacy is good. A very responsible woman has been working there for a long time. Why in our area this has been going on for the past year. It is impossible to find a single worker to help find the item. If you find him he will be rough. Right now Dec 6 7.00PM There is only one new worker at the checkout with very poor English, and in my opinion he does not know what he is doing there, he is all lost. There is no one at all in the evening. And there is always a line at the checkout. Was there right now and stood in line for 14 minutes and got impatient, leaved stuff and left to write review. Lost a lot of my time. People from our area should be complaining to get this Walgreens out of here to hell! Give us back Duane Read! CVS is much better. And best of all, private businesses, they really value their customers.
Pharmacy customer service is terrible!! Each staff member even the main doctor or w.e he is looked at me on line and did nothing. It’s not the first time they act too busy to help out people right in front of them. There were 2 people just going in circles looking at me and nothing. Nobody bothered asking how can they help me or anything. Unless you’re trying to waste your time and never get helped don’t go here. The one close to east 19 in front of big banana grocery store is way better. Pharmacy may be a little slower but the the two ladies are very helpful.
After using the photo kiosk to develop some pictures, I attempted to use the coupon code to get a discount on one of my photos. The code would not go through and I was told that I would receive the discounted price regardless. The next day when I picked up my photos, another person rudely stated that she will not honor the discount because the coupon did not effectively go through on the kiosk. She stated that it was only for online purchases. I asked where that was stated online as the portion of information that I had seen on the product page did not state "only for online purchases". The disinterested looking employee reiterated her statement and paid no attention to my request to see the information. Instead she proceeded to ignore my request while fiddling on her phone. Hard to believe a stranger that tells you something without providing proof.
I was here today and I needed to punch in my cards # at the check out and I was REALLY RUDELY TOLD that they aren’t able to punch it in and I asked simply why that was and again I was rudely told that the manager had said that and there was a counter next to me that was open and the cashier there asked the cashier at my counter why that was and she said she “didn’t know” so there for the manager had said to supposedly 1 employee and not the others and the employee that was told that didn’t ask why so how should that be my problem also I have been to other small pharmacy business and they didn’t have a problem with punching in my card #. Also I did ask for the employees name yet she said “ I don’t need to share that info with you” but the way she was speaking to me shows how confident she was that she would get any consequences if I reported her or her manager.
All the cashiers are lost, they move like a turtle. You guys need to get self checkout stations.
Jesus Christ, this place is bad. Sam, one of the pharmacists, engaged in a one-sided shouting match with me because there was a misunderstanding on the website over who is authorized and eligible for a Pfizer booster. I told him the information on the Walgreens’ website had different information and he continued to yell and berate me. I was the only black customer and felt that his behavior was aggressive and hostile. It seems other customers agree, hence the bad reviews. I am definitely not a Karen but I will be contacting corporate because this guy has a serious need for customer service training.
So I purchased cosmetics and didnt even test it, this guy said due to covid they cant take returns. young white kid today October 30 2021 at 7:25pm at front register however upon calling corporate. I find out 1 theres a difference between talking to a store manager vs employee it seems most employees arent familiar with their policies or are told something else to deter returns , this may seem obvious but corporate policy should be uniform in a name like walgreens. 2 despite being post covid, the 100% satisfaction guarantee is still held and definitely trumps the covid no return. 3 before covid. Walgreens and all other competitors like rite aid and cvs all took returns on makeup. If it was used they labeled it not for sale and did not put back on shelf. They can still do that now. But they use covid as an excuse to keep their returns low. This is poor image on behalf of walgreens. 3 target as competitor, will happily taken your used or unused product back within 90 days . I suggest if thede local walgreens workers want to keep this attitude that I rather take my business to a bigger name that offers satisfaction. I would never return used makeup and I'm not one for making scene. I am a concious buyer and I like that option and so at the end of phone call. The store then agrees and says okay we will take return... only after I did the work to verify their own policy? Customers shouldn't have to do that.
I dropped off a package here on 02/28 for FedEx pickup- it’s now 03/09 and FedEx has yet to receive my package- I called their store abs the reps keep transferring my calls, no one has accountability for my package, or they ignore my calls. I filed a claim and will be visiting this location personally
To whom it may concern ; I am a customer of Walgreens, 946 Kings Hwy, Brooklyn, NY 11223. Today, 10/10/20, i have visited your store approximately around 3:45-4:00 pm, check cameras for your convenience, thinking to buy few things. Usually, i come early in the morning and sometimes in the evening and has never experienced such a behavior. Usually, all of your employees serve everyone in asap manner, which i respect. I was standing in the line today, there have been one customer in front of me and one at the register. After the customer at the register was finished and stepped away, i have encouraged a person in front of me to approach the counter and she seemed to be afraid to do so, seemed as if she knows employee at the counter all too well, instead she has let me go first. I have approached a counter, placed my products and not right away, after awhile, your employee mentions that i have skipped a line, i have explained, which i didn't skip anyone, the customer in front of me has let me go first. I don't mind your employees talking to someone else, multi-task and ring my products up, that's all, i was asking. Unfortunately, your employee was relentless, busy talking with a person standing next to a register and not in the front of the counter, since he was finished shopping, about personal matters, and reluctant to serve me and ringing my products up. In return, it has led to a situation in which a line has built up, and still she wouldn't flinch to ring my products up. Your employee stated clearly "i will not ring you up". I asked for a manager and tried calling one myself, no one showed up. I had to leave your store disappointed to shop else there, spending money in some other store. Please, take all the measures, call for a store meeting, retrain your employees in the matters of customer survice to stop such a behavior from repeating again. Sincerely your; Oleg D.
I have never been able to go to this store buy something and pay without it taking half an hour. Only 1 clerk is ever working and the line is usually to the middle of the store. Expect to spend 30 mins or more here for even the simplest items.
