I wouldn’t even give this particular store one star. Today was the absolute worse experience I have had at any Walgreen’s establishment. The employees are very unprofessional. The store is very unorganized. There is one male employee that took to a complaint I had then proceeded to tell me to go to another Walgreens if I’m not happy with the service. I told them both, I have paid property taxes in this community for well over 10 years. I shouldn’t be directed to go to another Walgreens for proper customer service , if this one is in my community. He wouldn’t give me his name, told me his name isn’t my Buisness. I have called corporate to report this employee and the poor, unprofessional interactions I had with the employees. I ordered a photo book 2 weeks ago, needed it prepared for a family members birthday surprise. I was told they didn’t have anyone in the photo area to do any orders, that’s why I didn’t receive a call, text or email. I am looking to have the fee refunded because if the terrible treatment I have experienced. If anyone choose to patronize with this particular Walgreens, shop with caution. Be careful not to trip or fall over un-stocked and improper placement of shipment of products. Here are photos of some of over stock and the very RUDE employee that didn’t want yo give me his name.
First time at this location in Decatur Georgia off of candler road and McAfee. It sits on the corner, has plenty of parking and a few handicap spots. All the workers were wearing masks but customers didn't have to wear any. They have everything under the Sun including clothing, toys, and food. They have a freezer section with ice cream frozen dinners and more. The fun thing about it was that the doors kept changing so it was a moving billboard. To my surprise, they sell alcohol. An entire section across from the ice cream, are bottles and bottles and cans of wine champagne seltzers etc. Not much in the photo area. It wasn't very busy, but they were also stocking shelves. They do have the pharmacy in the back of the store. Check out my pictures and video for more info.
Everything is locked up now except their name brand items. Smh. Choose to go elsewhere. Refused to wait just to call someone over to unlock medicine. Not really sure why they have security there just to still lock everything up. They are always sitting at the door anyway…so never mind…I see now.
I came in for a scheduled rapid covid test. I waited 30 minutes. I was told I would be emailed the results. Six hours later, no email. I called them, and was told they didn’t have the capabilities to email, that I would need to come in for a hard copy to give my doctor. It was closing time, so I went in the next morning. I’m sitting here now, and they are telling me the only person who can print is the Pharmacy manager who doesn’t come in until tomorrow. I asked them if they could text me, they said they need approval from the pharmacy manager, so once again, they told me to come in the next day. It is the most ridiculous system I’ve ever seen. I had to pay $128 for a test result that I can’t get a hard copy of.
Worst customer service ever, unprofessional at the highest level, and it begins at the management level. I am not including all individuals employees in the pharmacy. Some are genuinely nice and will try their very best. But I can do a line-up. Good luck to the employees that are genuinely doing their jobs.
I have been with Walgreens for years. The customer service has really changed. There’s glitching with the app. I put in a refill over a week ago with the app and still haven’t received my medication. Then I call. Spending over forty minutes over the phone- no one answers. What’s going on Walgreens? Do better
One of the worst pharmacies I have ever been to. Multiple times I've had to wait weeks for my essential medications, they constantly say your medicine is ready for pickup and then they havent even gotten the order. They NEVER answer the phone and if they do they hang up.
Please educate your employees that 1. Walgreens card reloading policy is as follows; 3 transactions in 24 hours max, $500 max per transaction, $1000 max per 24 hours and $10,000 max per month. 2. No manager can create their own policy contrary to Walgreens ACTUAL policy and each location doesn't have seperate policies. 3. No Walgreens employee should be directing any customer to another Walgreens for the services they offer at every location under any circumstances.
Terrible pharmacy. Staff always disorganized and arguing with eachother. No instruction communicated on pickup vs drop-off for people waiting in line. They never have common prescriptions available and have to make separate orders. Everyone waiting in line are always in shock with how bad service is.
Terrible service! Pharmacist will lie about the availability of your prescription just to get you out of their face. I will be calling corporate and providing names.I’ve been on hold for 30+ minutes and I am the only caller in queue. Unacceptable!
