It is an okay pharmacy. I just barely started going here this year so we will see how long this lasts. I had sort of a disappointing experience today 09/27/2022. I was already not into today for other reasons and this was just icing on the cake. I was told my prescription was not ready even though there was supposed to be a hold on it because more clarification from the prescriber was needed. I guess it actually was put back instead of being held. I waited several minutes and then got back in line to pick my prescription up as soon as I received an email indicating my prescription was ready. I was the only person in line until someone who was previously there came back when they were called to pick their prescription up over the store speaker. This person was waited on me before me even though I had been at the pharmacy prior to them twice upon my initial arrival and my second time lining up. The individual tried to apologize, but I was just silent because I did not feel I had to reply. Maybe I should have just left and came back another day to be more of a priority. I then did some shopping afterwards, which cheered me up a bit.
So, I just changed from CVS to this Walgreens, because it has a drive through pharmacy, bad back, and drove down on Saturday to pick up my prescription. Well guess what? The entire pharmacy is CLOSED on Saturday and Sunday! Yup, that’s right! Whats wrong with you Walgreens? And you’re struggling to stay in business? Hmmm. , wonder why!!
Pharmacy hit or miss, I fill my son's Rx here because it's close to Dr's office, usually it's because he's sick and needs them quickly. Appointment Friday afternoon at 3pm, by 7 pm his much needed meds not ready, I finally reached someone, and she stated they would be ready in the morning, well here we are and there's not even a status in the automated system, I called, left on hold for 20 min , totally willing to hold if busy, but guess what... nobody actually answers the phone, just oops hands up! Now I have to drive down there to try and resolve in- person. My go to Central & Walgreens.. they have been great for over 20 years!
Probably the worst Service I have ever received. I waited 20 minutes at the drive through window. To only be told they didn't have my Glucose meter. I told them to call me if another location had it. Then I was called 3 minutes after driving off to be called and told about another location that had it for me. I drove there to be told they didn't have it and had to be ordered. Well, I could've done that at the 7thst location. Poor Service is an understatement!!! Ridiculous
I called up because my wife's prescription at the Dunlap location wasn't being filled. My phone conversation was polite, quick and problem resolved very quickly. Thank you!
Lost my covid test results. A month later mails some other random person's test results to me meaning mine were mailed to some other random person. Then when I have a confirmed appointment for the vaccine, I show up and they have run out of vaccines. This is the system we are trusting with our health??
5/15/21 at 12:40 pm: Older female cashier ignored me during our transaction; I greeted her and asked how she is doing. Yet as I exited the store a white, older man walked and I heard the cashier say in a rather pleasant voice, “hello, how are you?” So she IS capable of greeting folks, I guess it depends on demographics.
This Walgreens pharmacy is awful! I had a prescription sent by my doctor and this Walgreens claims, my doctor never approved of the script for insurance purposes. I Called the doctors office and they indeed sent the script with doctors approval. It was Walgreens pharmacy's fault because the person filling the script clicked the wrong area in the computer. The pharmacy tech treated me, as if I caused all the hassle and was talking to other customers about it. Whatever happened to privacy? The customer was in earshot talking about how I was rude to refuse to leave. I needed my prescription of course I refused to leave! The pharmacy tech replied yes, people these days. This tech is an older lady than the rest of them with long medium brown hair always pulled back in a low ponytail. I don't remember her name, but I remember her lack of customer service, empathy and rudeness toward me.
They really like the word “No” at this location. Do you guys have any-“no” Can I reserve this-“no” Do you guys take this-“no” Can I make $2 in quarters for change-“no” Did you fill my prescription-“no” Why? “We no longer accept your insurance.” The water machine outside is broken-“call the number on the machine. We don’t care.” I have endless stories of how employees at this store have been rude to me. Shame on them and I hope they get replaced with people who WANT THEIR JOBS. This review is a culmination of 1 and a 1/2 years of bad experiences.
Toni was very nice and helpful when helping us, and getting us check out in a timely manner
