Scheduled my covid vaccine at this location. The line was long even with an appointment scheduled, it took about 45 minutes to get me vaccinated. Will be back in 3 weeks for my second dose of the covis vaccine. Was able to fine some more vitamins while waiting in line as well as a new face wash.
I sat on hold for over an hour to make sure my prescriptions would be ready when I arrived. I arrived at the drive-thru still on hold only to be told to come back in five hours. I told them they were urgent, I had already been waiting and trying to call, etc. They told me they could get them done in an hour. I kept checking online to make sure they were ready. An hour later I started to try to call again. Another hour on hold and I gave up. I waited until the original time they told me. Waited another hour on hold and finally got someone only to be told they would not be ready until tomorrow. The employee could not care less.
Waited over 1 hour to get a drive through covid test there was only one car ahead of me. After 30 minutes at the window, they said their computers keep crashing so they can’t bill insurance else I can pay $129 out of pocket. They then offered to give me a take home test for the inconvenience, but after they mentioned that to the manager, they came back and said actually the insurance wont cover the take home test so I’d have to pay for that as well. Just like the car ahead, I left after spending an hour with nothing in return
It said online that they were open till 6pm Christmas day and also on the door to the actual store as well. I got an uber here with 10 mins til they were supposed to close and the door was locked at 5:50 and I could clearly see 4 workers inside just standing around by the photo counter. I can understand people want to get off work because of the holiday but if you agree and decide to work on this day you should be working the entire shift and close on time otherwise adjust your posted closing times so that your customers know what times the store is open and hopefully avoid a situation like what I just dealt with. Bad service here. Unfortunately they could not make an exception on a return that was at the 31 day mark purchased from this location. They couldn't even store credit on their overpriced item. Polite but not helpful. Public Service Announcement: Amazon is more than half the price. I'm second guessing supporting this chain. Definitely not returning to location.
They changed closing hours for the pharmacy from 9pm to 7pm. So annoying. Then they say come back tomorrow we open at 9am. You call to make sure the meds are ready two hour wait and no answer! I drove there and the pharmacy is CLOSED till tomorrow even though yesterday i was told it is would be open. They had me on hold for no reason! No one even showed up to work. My kid need medicine so im calling their 122nd sunnyside store but they dont answer either.
Asked the cashier twice to start my photos while I shopped. She ignored me and snapped when I asked for them. “They don’t print themselves” Really! That’s why I asked you!
This location has seen some bad days recently! Big time improvements have been made. Pharmacy seems to be running better and the cashier Jessica has added a level of customer services I have never seen there. Your shift managers should takes lessons from her. What they seem to lack is the professionalism, personality and patience she shows your customers.
Super organized store. Friendly staff at the register. So thankful to have a Walgreens in the neighborhood when I'm not feeling well.
Ordered my prescription from them via the online portal. Walgreens decided that instead of this store where I got it last time, I wanted it at a store I had never even set foot in. This is not this location fault, I get that. When I went to pick it up however I was told it had been filled in the other location. Asked to have it transferred back and filled where I was. Sure! The clerk comes back and says they cannot fill it now. Why not? Because between when I ordered it and went to pick it up it had expired. Oops, guess they did not bother to check what was up! Oh, and we are going to lunch so we cannot help now. Turns out, when they tried to transfer it, since it was expired, they now could not fill it. And since it was transferred I can now also not go get it from the store they randomly filled it out in the first place. Now I have no medication it is for HBP so I cannot just skip it when I thought I had 45 more days worth. They offered me three days worth of the 45 days worth I should have had. Since I have changed insurance I now have to find a doctor with an appointment in the next week to get a refill. I will never set foot in a Walgreens again. Between the website randomly selecting a store for me and the pharmacy staffs callousness and lack of professionalism I have had enough.
