The absolute worst customer service, half of the techs/pharmacists hang up on you when you call for price questions when "price increases" magically appear, card machine never seems to be "working" but I was charged three times for one pick up, I had one instance where you could tell one of the techs had either used drugs recently or was drunk on shift and dropping everything / slurring her words. I've waited at the pick-up window for over 40 minutes more than once. One instance I came to pick up my meds and ended up getting a completely different medication than what was listed on the bottle - in the bottle. I have never met a single employee in this pharmacy specifically who looks like they enjoy their job. I would genuinely go elsewhere and not this pharmacy.
The staff were so kind and friendly. They always move customers through the line in a timely manner and my prescriptions are filled on time, sometimes even before expected. They also always help me find the best price!
Very rude pharmacist Nina B. Very unprofessional. I have been practicing medicine for 20 years, and have found pharmacist to be a great resource with excellent collaboration between professions. Nina was extremely rude. Would not recommend giving this pharmacy any business. I will send all my patients to another location/business.
I've had very little issues with them since switching from Shopko. The pharmacy's service is like night & day when compared to the store itself very good service & can get them on the phone for the pharmacy; with the store itself, you're lucky if you can ever get somebody to answer the phone & many times they ignore you when you ask for help finding something. The only real issues I've run into in the past with the pharmacy was waiting in-store for a refill they didn't have in stock having to come back another day to pick it up or they don't put a medication on hold when I ask the doctor to do so when it's called in having to call them to request it be put on hold after getting a notification it's been filled, but most of the time any issue is a short wait in line with 3 or less people, which I can't really complain about.
Unless you like long lines, long waits, and miscommunications I would suggest driving a few extra minutes for a different pharmacy. Despite calling ahead, some medications often get left out, so you’ll end up waiting for them anyways. On top of that they seem often have trouble billing insurance correctly, so I’ve had to call my insurance while in line to get it figured out... Which of course forms a large line of impatient people behind me. Which i then have to wait in since they forgot one of my medications.
Edit: I received a call from the Pharmacist who wanted to get to the bottom of what happened because she saw this review and then saw that they actually did have the medication I needed on the day that I came in. She was very nice and clearly wanted to make it right, which is way more than I ever could have expected from anything Walmart. I was very upset when I wrote this review and from talking to the pharmacist, I think my anger was justified so I'm leaving the original, but the fact that she called to set it straight and apologize is honestly pretty cool, and humble, and respectable. So at the very least, the Pharmacist herself deserves 5 stars and the staff on that day deserve 1 so I'm averaging it all out. Other than that one day I haven't had any real problem with the pharmacy. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I went in to get an Rx that was supposed to be ready yesterday. It's a daily medication that I need EVERY DAY! They told me it still wasn't ready and that I had to wait 30 min. I walk aimlessly around walmart for 30 min and when I came back they said it would be another 20 min and not to go far because they were closing soon. So I waited another 20 min right in front of the pharmacy, got back in line and then was told they were out and wouldn't have it until Monday. Why the hell couldn't they tell me that the first or second time? Or while I was waiting there in front of the pharmacy. And that was 1 min before they closed so now I can't call another pharmacy and check to see if they have my medication. Even though I was there an hour before closing and they were already a day late they treated me like I was in the wrong. This is the sloppiest pharmacy staff I've ever encountered.
Everytime I refill a prescription here they ask if I have insurance and tell me they need my information again. I'm not the card holder on my insurance so it's a huge hassle and this is happening every time I go in. It's like they routinely delete my information every week. I'll be transferring all of my prescriptions but hopefully it will be a quick process because I have been out of one I need because of the way they run their business.
This is a good pharmacy, they just have a hard time giving a good estimate on wait time. I went to pick up an order I put in earlier that day, they told me it wasn't ready and I had to give my insurance info to the pickup counter. The girl was very nice, and told me it would be 10-15 minutes. I came back 15 minutes later, they said it would be 10 more minutes. I came back again about 15 minutes later, and the guy at the counter who took my info the previous two times said he has no record of my order. I was a little annoyed at this point, and asked to speak to someone else. The woman I spoke to talked to the girl who took my insurance info, and said it would be two minutes. They filled it quickly after that, and checked me out. Pharmacies are very busy, and understaffed, I understand; please be realistic about wait times. Tell me to come back tomorrow after 2, I don't care, just have my order ready at 2, not in 10 more minutes.
Always one of the same pharmacist. Always have great and fast service!
This pharmacy is incredibly incompetent. They run out of important life saving medications regularly and then when they do get them in they don't fill the prescription. I have had this happen at least 3 times with my asthma medication. The wait is long every time and the meds are never ready. If they have a problem with the medication they don't call you or try to fill it, so you only find out when you get there to pick up your important medications that they don't have them or that your insurance doesn't cover them or that your doctor won't approve them. They have also left me at the window for 10 minutes when there was no one else. The people are lazy, slow, inconsiderate, and incompetent. Pick another pharmacy if you can
