This Walmart is undergoing construction to turn it into a super center. May 2022 is the tentative grand opening. Shelves were still stocked was able to find what I came in for. Staff is polite.
Great selections of donuts. Very good price. Best Walmart.
There’s few ROACHES on the food shelf. I did informed manager. She not say anything. Seems she don’t care.
I had an 8 a.m appointment for tires this morning. I get there around 7:30 and do some casual browsing as I wait for my appointment time to near. 8 a.m comes and there's literally NO ONE in the Auto center. Several associates walk by the entrance as I'm standing there and none stop to ask if I needed assistance. Finally after several minutes I ask an associate about the Auto center and was advised, THE ENTIRE DEPARTMENT CALLED OUT! What? So I ask for a manager and I get excuse after excuse and the run around. I then ask for the store manager and she obviously didn't want to deal with the situation. They send another junior manager to speak with me and her first reaction was they had no control over what happened and there was nothing they could do. I then had to school her on customer service. I told her that I had an email confirmation of my appointment which clearly stated I was to be there between 8 a.m and 8:15 a.m and if I were any later than that, my reservation would be cancelled. I've already been waiting well past 8:15. So I tell her that that email held me to a standard so in turn I hold them to a higher standard! I also tell her that customer service is what I do all day everyday so what were they going to do to compensate me for my inconvenience. She says she'll talk to her manager for a resolution. In the meantime, I gave her my info and she said she'd call me to fit me in when the evening shift came in if they'd come in. I get a call at 10 a.m for a 4:30 appointment. I get there at 4:30 and give my last name. As soon as I mentioned my last name, the associate became very bubbly and said she was expecting me and that she'd been instructed to take my vehicle in immediately and get my tires on. I asked again how would they compensate me for my inconvenience and told her I'd like my installation discounted. She said sure thing and instead of discounting it, she waived it after getting her manger's approval! Moral of the story, hold people accountable when dealing with your most valuable assets your money and your time! People will only treat you as far as you'll allow. Thanks Walmart for rectifying my issues satisfactorily but take this as a learning lesson to improve processes and customer service. Thanks -B
Since becoming a super Walmart, it has been much better! I know the smell had nothing to do with Walmart, but maybe Walmart could actually file a complaint and have something done. I'm sure they have some powerful connections!
Most of the shelves there are empty! No meat selection! And if, always very close to the expiry date! It's not a super center! There is often no detergent, fabric softener or bleach available! The shelves, everything is very empty in Dundalk! What a super center! Even cat litter is often not available ! The simplest things are missing! Most parking is for disabled or sales or for pick up
It was a very crowded place to go. It's hard to get in and get out of the place. The associates are not willing to help with anything. When you see one, they move quickly and avoid eye contact and fast going to a different aisle right away.
I've Been shopping at the Walmart in Dundalk for as long as I can remember, I had high hopes and expectations for the upgrade to a super store, but they have unhelpful staff that don't know where anything is located, items on shelves without prices, and the check out lines are chaos! After shopping for about an hour I started checking out at one of multi available self checkout registers, and was stopped and was told I could not finish checking out. The staff then call for manager and security because of a " line" . There needs to be a system in place to eliminate the chaos at these registers.
Who doesn't love Walmart? It's the closest to me and I love to buy online, visit and just check out items on their site between in person visits to online app access! The fee's kinda suck but I don't hastate when I can afford it !!!
I had recently came here for an oil change, they had a new mechanic didn’t bother telling me. I was under the impression that my oil change was a success without any issues, soon as I turn my car on my oil change light came on so I had to turn around and return to the shop to figure out what happened. I go back there and told the lady at the desk what happened she walks with me to speak to the guys who just changed my oil the two men that were there named Devin and Blake tried to act confused as if they just didn’t get finished changing my oil, they then tell me to pull up towards the garage. I pull up the guy who is talk and brown skin not sure if his name was Devin or Blake he just stood there and stared at me and I’m like so what happened, the guy nonchalantly said that the other gentleman forgot to change my oil status. I do not appreciate them not telling me they had someone new working at the shop or I would have politely asked for someone who has experience nor did I appreciate the guy staring at me as if I was inconveniencing him. I won’t be back to this location unless I desperately need to.
