OMG! I absolutely loved this place. Service was incredible. The Sushi was unbelievable. My friend ate the cooked food Beef Bowl and absolutely loved it. Everything from the atmosphere to the Mochi & Green Tea Ice Cream was so delicious. All of my different sushi rolls/dishes were absolutely fresh and delicious. Works of art. Staff wore masks and you could still see the smiles shining through. Hands down my new favorite spot to enjoy when I head to Wichita.
Wasabi is always my top pick for a casual yet classy date. I've never been disappointed by their rolls, wait time or atmosphere. Their green tea is served with a beautiful pot of youre feeling a bit extra. The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly even on busy nights. Out of over 10 visits, I've only run into one occasion during an empty lunch with a less than attentive/seemingly annoyed staff member who may have just been having a bad day. Either way, it won't deter me from visiting again.
I've had sushi before at buffets, but never at an actual sushi restaurant. The positives of going to an actual sushi restaurant is that you have a LOT more options. At a buffet, you only have around 10 most likely less. Disadvantage of that is that you don't know what to choose. I chose my dishes based off of what ingredients were used and that didn't disappoint. Servers were very friendly and helpful and we got seated immediately with the restaurant being fairly busy. I seem to remember restroom being clean when I went I'm posting this review a bit later than when I went, I've been busy. Restaurant was also clean and orderly. Nothing wrong in this area. Food came out relatively quickly and tasted amazing. I ordered California rolls and the "Salmon Crunch" menu item. The California rolls were about what you'd expect, still very good. I recommend you go with some options that you can't get at other restaurants. The Salmon Crunch was amazing in my opinion. I wish I could describe the taste, but I don't remember it too well and I'm also not very eloquent when writing about food. Not very well-versed. This is just to say it was really good. I also ordered tempure Oreos and green tea ice cream. Both really great. Had a great time at the restaurant. With all I ordered, it was a tad heavy on my wallet, but I don't feel like the price exceeded the quality.
Everything was delicious! We got sashimi combination and miso soup and playboy roll and seaweed salad it was uh ma zing!! Our server was super sweet and took excellent care of us. Always have a great experience here.Food: 5/5

Good sushi, large portions. I was very happy.Food: 5/5
Great fresh sushi and service in every visit. Sushi was well made and they still give a good amount of portions even when prices have been more expensive. Staff manages to deliver food on time and keep the restaurant clean even when it's super busy.
Wasabi East is my favorite sushi place in WICHITA! I love the Stonehenge and almost all of their sushi! It is always super fresh and you get a great portion size. They also have very creative and unique rolls with a good selection!
Called in the order and it was done promptly and correct. I had the teriyaki chicken lunch and it was a lot of food for the money. The fried veggies were really good. The chicken was tender bit very salty, the bright orange dressing was ok but overpowered the poor salad, if it was put in a container on the side I may have liked it. Sticky rice with soy sauce is also not my favorite, great with sushi but in a ladle shape covered in sauce I was not impressed. Last is the california roll, decent but underwhelming, very strong crab taste, could hardly taste the other ingredients. Overall... meh.
The Stonehenge is my favorite sushi roll. The crab cakes as an appetizer are amazing. My husband and I split and order of each and always leave happy. My kids love their gyoza. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu but my kiddos always get the gyoza. Staff is always kind and helpful with coloring and chop stick holder things so the kids can learn to use them.
