Our son has graduated John Battle. We chose to buy a house in the county just so he could go to a county rather than city school. We were very pleased with the dedicated teachers and staff. He graduated  as a Washington county scholar and was chosen to be on the STATE advisory board for the Board of Education to mention just a few of the honors that came his way through his good education in a Washington County school

Washington Co has got to be the most ridiculously stupid district I've ever had to deal with. No text books for students, school delay because of the cold, constant fundraisers and school pictures, incompetent school staff. If you want the school to listen to your concerns then join the PTAs' "inner circle" by way of donation so you can have staff do your bidding and ignore rules.
