Beautiful old structure with lots of history. Grounds are well kept. To many vagrants hanging around
We came for the Art Festival..beautiful place to visit and spend some time with the family . You can buy some wine or beer and walk around admiring other people's art
Stunning location, architecture, & landscaping. Great photo ops! It's a little odd to me that literally one block over, there are homeless people sleeping all over the place, but this location doesn't have a one.... Not sure why that is. It does make me feel a little uneasy, however, that such a beautiful site is also the location where some people experience the worst days of their lives - It is a county/court building, & while the visuals are breathtaking, it's hard to forget how many people walk into this building never to be free again, or to receive the news that their loved one's attacker/killer is going free, etc... Gives me the chills...
Beautifully designed and aesthetics. They planted some tree that perfumes the air. There were homeless people harassing us. The security patrol had escorted them away.
Beautiful little city park. Lots of PAID parking. However, Saturdays are free.
We had a very unusual wind storm in Salt Lake City. Seeing this destruction made me weep. A pedestrian I passed said it looked as though king Kong went through the park. My opinion is that mankind is the cause. Global warming. Nauture abhoars a vacuum. All the fires in the West cause ground level heat. Above is cold air and heat rises. Wind storms like we had with 70 to 100 miles an hour winds are inevitable. We all need to accept our responsibility and make appropriate change to our home. Thanks, just my opinion.
Very beautiful and well maintained. Great place to take some pictures!
I got to enjoy some shade in this historical park. I even got to spend some time watching 3 falcons stake their claim in a tree nearby. Add in the great people of this area and it became a magical experience. A few geocaches are here as well. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
What an amazing 'City and County Hall'-building! Outside aswell as inside. I didn't know where to look first, let alone if you like taking pictures, this historic building definately has it all. Amongst the citizens of SLC this beautiful piece of architecture is commonly known as "The Castle" where you have to go to to pay your parking fine...
Beautiful building and green areas in this park. Perfect to have a walk and shoot some pictures in a nice weather day :
