My better half and I did a two-tank dive Waterfront Diving on 8/20 at the General Butler and Horse Ferry wrecks. The entire process was phenomenal. The staff answered a few questions we had prior to the dive quickly and intelligently, and they were courteous and friendly the whole time we were there. The shop itself was clean, spacious, and conveniently laid out. Jonathan gave a very informative and insightful dive briefing and took time to thoroughly answer any questions anyone in the dive group had. He also hooked my up with a spare Drysuit inflator cap after mine broke off. Capt. Larry was very knowledgeable and friendly as well, and the 15-minute total travel time to both sites and back was a huge plus. Despite growing up in the North County this was my first dive in Lake Champlain, and the next time we are able to dive the Lake again it will be with Waterfront Diving Center. Highly recommended.
The Waterfront Dive Center is amazing. I took a class with them in the summer for my SCUBA certification and have gotten rental equipment from them several times since. Great staff, incredibly friendly they have cute dogs there too, and a very welcoming environment to new divers.
So friendly and knowledgeable and accessible to all levels, including beginners! I love going there and it’s so awesome to be around other people who are psyched to dive here in Vermont!
The customer service and selection at the Waterfront Diving Center is great! They accommodated me inadvertently showing up after closing. The co-owner patiently explained mask fit and helped me find the best mask and snorkel for my needs. I would highly recommend this business!
Great dive shop and classes. My kids just did a week long dive camp that way awesome and now they are certified. Highly recommended
A fun and friendly group of divers always willing to help. They have a fantastic selection of gear that is proper for all levels and types of diving. The smalls they have available is outstanding for a technical diver like myself. Excellent shop, great location. I will be back!
I began scuba diving with Waterfront Diving Center in 2016 when I was certified as an Open Water Diver through their program at UVM. I have taken many other courses with them over the past few years and most recently earned my Divemaster certification. All of the instructors I have worked with there are top of the line and have prepared me to work as a professional in the dive industry. I HIGHLY recommend getting certified at Waterfront Diving Center. Not only will you learn how to be a good diver, but you will be able to work with amazing instructors and shop staff!
filled all the tanks with helium hehe have fun tryina "dive"
5 stars does not do this shop justice for their customer service. Called the shop to sign up for one of their mid week dives. Due to the travel distance coming from Buffalo NY Johnathan offered to set up an extra dive on a weekend to help accommodate my schedule. Fall weather being as unpredictable as it is, our Saturday dive was blown out. But they offered to adjust their Sunday dive schedule to make sure our two Saturday dives could be done. If your looking for a special trip I recommend this shop. Thank you to Krieg DM and captain Larry for an amazing dives.
Super nice people. Good selection of gear. If your looking for scuba lessons than perfect place to go.
