Great place to get cider. Super fun staff with plenty of options to try. I had a great time and loved music and activities. Great for families as well. You can reserve a spot by a fire pit or in some of the more secluded igloos. We had a great time around other folks at the picnic tables. Update 8/27/2023 went back again still amazing. Highly recommend you visit!
What an amazing find! We live nearby and finally tried the cidery. The drinks were great and environment was really great. Kids enjoyed the train play area and all of the open areas. Employees very nice and helpful. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back.Service: 5/5
Highly recommend a flavored cider if you like things on the sweeter side. There was also live music, food trucks, and plenty of dogs when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. Parking: Grass parking Kid-friendliness: Lots of open space for kids to run around.
I went to Doc Waters Cidery and really enjoyed the experience. It was trivia night. Many people showed up. Lots of fun. Great cider. Lots of seating. They have food, but I noticed some people brought their own food. I like that you have that option. I would definitely go back.
I've enjoyed the hard cider here for a long time and I have stopped by many weekends to purchase bottles of hard cider and regular cider. However, this weekend I reserved a fire pit and it was so NICE! It wasn't horribly expensive and the fire pit area was set up for us. A staff member started our fire and checked in periodically to make sure we were doing okay and our fire was doing okay. The food and beverage selections were great. A food truck was present and was happy to accommodate people with gluten issues. We brought the materials for s'mores and had such a nice afternoon. There was live music most of the afternoon and when it got dark, the string lights made everything adorable. I am looking forward to doing this again next year!!
Such a cute and beautiful location! I went here to go apple picking and it was so much fun. They tell you on their website the different kinds of apples and when they will be in season. I purchased a small bag and was able to get about 15 apples! The location provides tools to help you pick the apples and then let’s you roam around the grounds. Afterwards you can head down the road and sit with some apple cider! This is something I would definitely do again just to get outside!
A nice little cidery to drop by and sample a few ciders. Pretty minimal place when I went. A few tables, no food, but plenty of open space for setting up a picnic or playing some games on the lawn. Ciders were good and very fresh, but nothing overly unique or special.
This place is tucked away but there are plenty of signs to show you the way. The road there is super bumpy and gravelly. When you get there you just check in and then sit down or get food and drinks. One thing we found out right before we left is that they offer hard cider slushy flights and regular non alcoholic cider slashes. The food it a little limited with it mainly being small bites of a charcuterie board that is a prepackaged boarshead or crackers, but there was a food truck when we went there for more food. It has a great open space to sit talk and hang out in. It is super kid friendly but it can be a little hard to take a stroller that doesn't have larger wheels as the whole area is lawn. They also have fire pits that can be reserved and used which seems like it would be great for groups to enjoy. While I was not in love with all the hard ciders there there is plenty to enjoy about the place outside of that. Also the nonalcoholic cider is amazing as it hits a balance where it is just sweet enough and any of the hard ciders you don't like so much are elevated to being great if mixed with the normal cider.
Love this place, I almost don't want to review it just to keep it a hidden gem! Lots of room for social distancing. This year they have begun reservations so plan in advance. Fire pits, picnic tables, or you can bring your own chairs. They have food trucks and snacks to go with the cider. Non-alcoholic available for kids and plenty of space to run around. The cider is great, especially the hot mulled cider in the fall! :
The location is picturesque and, with the breeze, we welcomed how sunny it was. There are fire pits for rent, but you must reserve them online. We like that there are varieties of cider that are not sweet and options for sweet and non-alcoholic drinks too. While there is food to buy, we have better luck bringing our own.Food: 3/5
