I'm a contractor and have been buying landscape block and patio materials for years from them. They have good products, service and easy to work with. I highly recommend
Had a couple guys signed up to do the Wall and Patio certification course. Had two trucks go down the night before a heavy snow storm was anticipated. Was unable to attend due to preparation work, repair work on trucks to get ready for the snow storm. Spoke with sales manager who claimed he would work with me. Nothing on the sign up form inferred that there were no refunds. After our conversation he claimed he would work with me. No effort has been made to resolve this. $500 isn’t a lot of money, however it would be nice to receive a refund for something you were unable to attend. Poor communication and follow up. Likely won’t be using this company in the future.
Watkins came through and fixed our caps on our new fire pit. Within 48 hours of contacting them, they had a new contractor not the one we hired fixing the problem. They had awesome customer service from the start of our inquiry. Great product and great customer service!
We recently had to work with Watkins to fix a bad situation with a contractor that we hired. Watkins was in no way responsible and did not have to help us, yet they did. I spoke with Jerry at the front desk and she was very professional and extremely kind. I worked with Cody and he went above and beyond to help us with the products that we needed. Even the men that worked in the customer loading area treated me well and were very friendly. They amazingly replaced retaining wall items for us that they didn't have to replace. They fixed a bad situation for us that they really didn't even have to fix. They knew that we were extremely unhappy with a job and they stepped up to make it right for us when they truly did not have to. I will use this company from here on out for any projects that we have. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area.
I needed a concrete sealer for my new driveway. The guy asked me questions on what I needed it for and helped me figure out the best product for the job. He then explained how to apply the product. He was very knowledgeable and he made the job easy. I will definitely go back when I need concrete products.
Check your orders! Ordered Block and Rock from here, and the rock order was COMPLETELY WRONG, even after discussing everything with the sales staff. After catching their mistake and saving them money, they wasted MY time switching out the rock, and then refused to give a discount for making a mistake. This was extremely unprofessional, and the manager on staff was extremely rude during his attempt at a resolution.
The show Room and product line and quality at Watkins block are awesome. The sales staff are super helpful, highly recommend this place for any landscaping block or construction block needs. Their selection is unbelievable.
I purchased a 5 gal can of concrete sealer for about $220.00. It was supposed to be a 1-5 year acrylic product for our new driveway. Our contractor said, "Do yourself a favor and return it. The product we recommend is 5-10 years and only $140 for a 5 gal can. We had to go into east Omaha to get it, but reading the label, it certainly shows that this product bonds with the concrete and doesn't sit on top of it. Problem occurred when we brought the original can back to Watkins after only having it for 2 days. They attempted to charge us a 20% restocking fee, but my wife would have none of it. In Nebraska, there is a 3-day right of return on a sale, and this was not a special order item. I did not appreciate them trying to line their pockets because they lost the sale. I was going to buy pavers for an additional part of the project, but I'm taking my business elsewhere now.
I did not go there recently but about 1 yr ago I was there for river rock and they were very nice!
I have been dealing with Watkins for quite some time now and every time I come in to make a purchase they are the absolute best people to deal with, kind courteous and knowledgeable about the product and projects I am interested in.
