Location; Okay, Parking; Okay, Service; Okay, Price for food received; Good, Overall; First time try, passed it as it is not in a very visible place. Only Ramen is shown outside so until you get to the doors you know it's the right place. Our server did not seem happy as his lack luster response was evident. Now with that said the food provided was pretty darn good. The chicken was tasty as well as the Ramen. The price was also good as we felt we received a nice amount of food. So would I come back, yes .
Oh my god This ramen was so damn good, I ordered the miso ramen with the pork..so deliciously savory and tender and the broth beautifully balanced plethora of amazing comforting flavors, the seaweed also full of savory flavor with the lovely gummy egg. Can't forget the green onion with corn too! Mind blown. I can't thank yous enough you all deserve big tips and more business you have no idea how much this ramen means to me thank you for putting so much care into your ramen!!!
Ah, a good, refreshing bowl of affordable tonkatsu ramen. Edit: Apparently they offer a lite option with less meat and more broth! Delicious! Super recommend! Plenty of toppings. The only thing I would have liked more was if there was just half a scoop more of that delicious broth.
Ordered for pick-up at 6:45 paid and got the message order will be ready at 7:20. My daughter goes down there to pick the order at 7:10, by 7:50 she goes in and asks where the order is and is told they are working on it. While waiting she over hear that they have no rice, this in the meantime is almost 8:00PM. She confronts them and is told they can have salad in the place of rice, but the meals come with salad. I asked for my money back but they couldn't do it. Never again will I go there after going there since they opened.
Great ramen place. Wish the flavors were a bit stronger. Over all not bad. The extra sides were a little bit pricey compared to other ramen places. Extra bamboo and extra egg cost 4.00. Have to say they do give a larger portion on the side but 2.00 for a egg is a bit over priced. Not bad place though.
Great bowls of ramen for reasonable prices! Perfect for cold nights in the desert. The Tonkotsu broth is deep in flavor, rich, and comforting, but it's not only to the point that you feel greasy after eating it. Noodles are good and pretty standard. I love how they already include so many toppings and the egg with each bowl so you don't have to pay extra. You get huge portions and end up paying less than $15 per person including tax and tip. Service was friendly and the decor was simple but functional. It's a small restaurant and they get busy, so come earlier to avoid waiting! Definitely on par with some of the ramen place I've been to in DC!
Only knock here is on the price:portion size ratio. Ramen bowls start at $11 here, and while you get all the nice things to start with red ginger, seaweed, wood ear mushrooms, a whole egg, and bamboo shoots, there simply isn't very much soup or noodles. Funny enough, if you order extra noodles $2, there's more of that than in the bowl, so you could split an order with someone else. Other than that, the soup is nice and rich, but not too heavy or salty, the meat portions are better than most places, the egg was perfectly soft-boiled, and the noodles are properly cooked chewy.
Hilariously rude wait staff. Like fingers in the bowl, sliding bowls on tables rude. I asked for an item update because we got our entree before the appetizer and she shouted at me. Will not come back here. What a disappointment
This place has great ramen. The portions are on the smaller side. Especially with the price. Family of 4, it was almost $100 for 3 ramen servings. Good ramen. High priced. Small portions. Good service.
This place has really good ramen. But everytime I go, I always get a stomach ache afterwards.
