They usually have what I need and I appreciate the quality of the items here. Unfortunately the prices are s bit high for me, at this time. I will start getting substitutes at regular grocery stores for the organic items I truly want in order to spend less on groceries.
This place sells great quality stuff that's a bit pricey. Although the market is small and cramped, the staff is hospitable, and very helpful. The deli is good, too; they actually had pastrami.
Very expensive, and workers act snobby and entitled. Trader Joe's employees are nicer and its much cheaper. I don't mind paying more for quality/great service but neither at this market.
A great neighborhood market. Small but has everything you need for the essentials and then some. Have some unique snacks that keeps me coming back.
Our membership in the coop is worth just the bulk item selection. Grains, cereals, spices, oils, vinegars, candy and more. I appreciate being able to shop at a place that doesn't require purchasing a new jar or bag or box. If you bring your own containers, they pay attention to the tare weight, too.
Organic, highly quality, locally sourced products, this is a unique venue for grocery shopping. Enjoy a 5% discount if you are a volunteering co-op member. Be aware, other customers are not always friendly, maybe because of the tight confines.
Friendly staff, amazing produce, wonderful selection of every food related thing you can imagine! + the staff are always super friendly :
Everyone staff memeber except one was very weird in a very rude and not wanting to be bothered way/ I feel this is usually the vibe at co-ops but I walked 30mins to the store to spend over $100 in this economy- the staff couldn’t use their words when needing to get past me ‘excuse me!’ For example - I was very excited to purchase my items Ans go home I kindly asked the woman at the register is it was on to put my items on the counter as I didn’t know if the space was available she very not Nicky said yes….: it’s stuff like this that will stop Me from shopping at the store again I’m sure it doesn’t matter because the store will continue to be open but eewwwwwweewww I’m never going back
If you’re a Black or brown person, I suggest avoiding here at all costs. The staff is super friendly and the selections are of high quality, though expect to pay a pretty penny for it. My issue is actually the store’s clientele. I have visited three times, hoping for a better experience and every-time I am sorely disappointed. Today was the last straw! Guests push past you to get to items or ignore your space completely. TWICE I had people snap at me to get out of their way. And it’s the same folks who have Black Lives Matter signs in their windows. *sigh*
My coop! They have it all..great people, produce, meat, bulk is great. Its my home base in Philly.
