I’ve had nothing but good experiences at Wedgles both buying and selling/trading. They have so much cool unique gear, I’m like a kid in a candy shop there! The staff is super nice and knowledgeable and will let you play with anything in the store for as long as you want. They are always willing to make a deal, which I appreciate.
I have been coming here for 5 years, and the service and guitar tech are the best in town. These guys always work with me weather I'm getting a loan or picking up a new guitar. I have purchased all kinds of things here from my wifes drum-set & engagement ring, to a few different amps, and about half a dozen guitars - even my banjo! These guys know SO much about good music and exemplary service, and I always have great success in finding what I need here. I recommend this store to any musician that wants to support good people! :
I had the good fortune of staying near the shop while in Denver; the staff was welcoming, helpful and genuinely kind in regards to helping fix my ukulele. Very grateful to have walked through their doors.
A horrifying outfit. I would rather go to a Guitar Center when the zombie apocalypse was at its peak then ever return to this pawn shop. Things to keep in mind their prices are outrageous and they will continuously speak about giving you a good deal and when you get to the register there will be no good deal. They pay usually only a quarter of what the instrument is worth. This is obscene even for pawn shops. They won't tell you about their return policy and potentially in violation of state law don't have any publicly listed return policies and they will not return anything even even if it's broken even if it was junk they will not issue it they will make you sell back the thing that you bought for half of what you paid even within a 12-hour period period I can't stress enough how how really how grimy this organization is and it should be avoided and by any you know want to have some sort of remaining integrity
I've purchased two guitars from this store. This shop has been my first experience interacting with a pawn shop owner that possesses a sense of integrity. I purchased a guitar and asked to purchase new strings as well, and was informed that the guitar had already received new strings and didn't need new ones- to the potential loss of profits for them. I bought the strings anyways. If you are not familiar or comfortable with these types of shops, I would recommend going here.
Was here several years ago on a vacation trip and was pushed into buying a guitar I didn’t particularly want. Attempted to come back and return the item but was refused and the staff were extremely rude to a young kid who simply wanted his money back. Now I live in Colorado I’ve told everyone I know to stay away. And now with the ability to leave internet reviews it’s funny how it’s gone full circle. I’m sure they have a great selection and it’s not the store itself, just the blatant way they took advantage of a young kid and cared more about the quick sale than anything else. Hate to see what they’re like in a pandemic!
These guys are amazing to work with, I would recommend them to anyone. They really looked after my Fender amp and waited for me to come pick it up! Great customer service!
I had a really good experience getting my electric guitar fixed here a few years ago. Just recommended to a friend and thought I would drop a review.
Wonderful shop right smack-dab in the middle of downtown. And the staff were very punctual, polite, and knowledgeable. They were able to fix my guitar that I brought in and they even found other things that were wrong with it and now it sounds great. I think this is going to be the only music shop I go to from now on because their selection is awesome. Thanks again guys!
Full of rare/vintage/collector's items, but expensive. And definitely not the place to haggle. More of a novelty type place if you're a casual musician instead of a collector.
