I have been a loyal customer of Wells Fargo for nearly 20 years and I visited this particular branch last week to deposit an $11,000 check into my savings account and the branch manager told me that he could not deposit my check due to a reason that he could not disclose. I asked the manager the reason why the check could not be deposited, and he refused to provide me with an answer or explanation. I had to drive to another Wells Fargo branch at 2821 Pineville-Matthews Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270, which is about 15-20 minutes away from my home, and they had no problem depositing the check into my savings account within five minutes, which cleared the next day. Clearly, there was nothing wrong with my check since another branch was able to deposit it, so why wasn't my check deposited at this location? Makes you wonder, right?! I was insulted, frustrated, and even perplexed as to why I was treated this way by this Wells Fargo branch. I felt that I was discriminated against and racially profiled at this location for absolutely no reason at all. I should not have to drive 20 miles away from my home to deposit a legitimate check and be treated with dignity and respect. I will be closing my accounts ASAP.
I want to open a checking account so I started the process online. They told me I could do the entire thing online and that they were too backed up to book apts. I thought it seemed simple but then I get an error message saying I need to verify my ID at a branch, most likely because I am not an American citizen. My husband is a Wells Fargo Private Banking customer and has been for years. I am currently still using my Canadian accounts and I realized today that I need to set up an account to pay for something because he is out of town. I went to the bank were they personally embarrassed me in front of multiple ppl and told me I couldn’t get an apt until next week? They treated me as if they are doing me a favor to open an account with them. This is a horrible example of customer service and a great example of discrimination. DO NOT BANK HERE. I will take my business elsewhere.
I have been using this branch for some issues with a small business account and at every turn when I have gone into the bank, the manager, the teller and especially the bankers have provided me with the best possible customer service. Even tho I went in every time without an appointment, they understood the urgent nature of what I needed and helped me through every step and were happy to do so. Big shout out to Mr Bellamy the banker!
I went into this branch today to cash a check and get two money order's. I looked a mess because I was just getting off work and was tired as ever. Long story short they told me they could not cash my check and that my card was fraud and they needed to cut up my card and order me another card. I asked for a manager the manager said the same. I left and went to the branch on central and they did everything that Myers park told me they couldn't do with out any issues. I was in and out. Ill never step foot in Myers park again.
I wish I could have given zero stars. This bank is located in a very prime locality and at a very rich neighbourhood. But the customer service is horrible ended up going to this branch to with draw some cash. The lady who was helping me out was very unfriendly. I wasn't even greeted by her like "How are you doing today" nothing that sort of which you normally expect from any financial institution. Surprisingly the person who was standing next to me was greeted by the same lady after I left. This particular incident happened around 2:45 pm today on January 2nd, 2018. Inspite of that I was even provided a torn note/bill which I had to change it later at a different bank. Hope the concerned authorities look into this and take it very seriosuly.
The service in this branch is perfection. I needed help with a replacement card and the banker helped me out very quickly and explained how everything would work so I knew what to expect. I was introduced to the new manager Lucy and she was extremely nice and told me if there was anything I needed that I could call either of them. I am a loyal customer now.
So glad I no longer have an account. I requested statements through the drive-thru and the teller was rude. Was told to make an appointment, then she told me she could do it. Ended up printing statements for months I didn’t even need. Go to another branch. There is clearly a lack of proper training at this location.
Someone scammed me and the transaction history from my bank account showed an ATM withdrawal at this bank location. Its just something about this bank location, never nothing good out of it
