Wellshire is a warm and welcoming community! I am happy with the variety of age ranges, activities and opportunities for both children and parents (they host free childcare 1 night/month for a Parent Date Night!), and their worship is exceptional.

Wellshire Church embraces all visitors, fosters authentic Christian community, applies a Christ-centered hermeneutic to its teachings, and brings about the Kingdom through service. The pastoral staff welcome and appreciate a diverse array of theological and social-political backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. For parents, you will find an active and educational Children’s Ministry. Distinct from common contemporary services, the traditional worship service is beautiful, thoughtful, and refreshing. I recommend Wellshire Church to anyone that wants to experience God’s goodness and grow in their Christian faith.

When searching for a church in Denver last year, I feared it would be tough to find a combination of intelligent and thoughtful Biblical study and heart-felt worship. Thankfully, my husband and I both felt immediately at home at Wellshire even though neither of us grew up in the PCUSA tradition. The community has loved us and our daughter so well, and we feel challenged but accepted. We became members only a few months after our first visit, and we have loved growing in this amazing community!

Finding a church home in a new town can be intimidating. Wellshire Pres immediately felt like home to me. People were welcoming without seeming weird & intrusive, and I wasn't the only single 30-something there. I grew up attending a PC USA church in GA and wanted a similar experience, and I found it at Wellshire. I primarily attend the 11am service because I enjoy traditional music & worship - which is surprising to a lot of people, because I'm very *non* traditional in many other aspects of my life! The sermons are relevant and thought-provoking (yep, I just stole that from the church website), and the head pastor, Dr. John Bell is one reason I attend with regularity. He's a great speaker, is very approachable, and I enjoy learning from him. I became an official member in the spring of 2012.
Even though I was raised in a religious Presbyterian environment I feel like this church would also be a good fit for just about anyone who is interested enough to show up. Even my boyfriend - a former Catholic - enjoys going every now and then ;-)
