Wellspring Church is a non-denominational church in Long Island City comprised of individuals in the Queens neighborhoods of Astoria, LIC, and Sunnyside/Woodside. We are a community seeking to follow in the way of Jesus and believe in the authority of the scripture for our life and practice.
Our vision is to join God in the renewal of all things, and for us this begins in our lives and neighborhood. It means seeing New Yorkers transformed into passionately engaged followers of Jesus. We long for people not just to attend church, but to be the church, creating an alternative culture rooted God's principles, here in the city. We recognize that God has placed within each of us gifts, passions and abilities to build the church and help bring the kingdom of heaven on earth.
