Story

Wesley Medical Center is expanding its children’s services and renovating its current inpatient pediatric areas with the construction of $28 million children’s hospital – Wesley Children’s Hospital.

Kansas’ only dedicated children’s hospital will provide expert pediatric care for children from infancy through teen, offer state-of-the-art technology and a family-centered healing environment where children and their families receive the best care possible, close to home.

Wesley wanted to build this hospital to advance its role as a leader in children’s health and be an active advocate for children through the development of its upcoming children’s foundation. Wesley Children’s Hospital will continue to make advancements in health care that reflect the needs of children by encouraging, supporting and participating in community programs that improve the health, education and overall wellness of our community’s children.

Renovations will be completed in fall 2016.
