We absolutely love Dr Klein. Dr Klein is a wonderful doctor and an amazing human being. I felt like he really cared about finding the best course of treatment. He always followed up after visits to see how Frank was and that was very reassuring. I’m very grateful for the care Frank received. Absolutely top notch and I would highly recommend the clinic! Also, big thank you to all the assistants and receptionist who patiently dealt with my busy schedule, phone back and forth and all the questions. You guys are the best vet team I’ve ever seen!
Dr Gayer is the BEST!! We wouldn’t go anywhere else!! All the Vets , desk Staff and Vet techs are beyond compassionate and courteous!!! Best of the best! We have had 3 pets over the course of about 12 years 2 cats and a senior dog . I have been to other Vets in my life and West Chelsea provides the most comprehensive care. I recommend them to everyone!
Theodore used to be terrified of vet visits, but Dr. Farber lets me stay with him during the exam, and since Theodore's greatest fear is abandonment he's a rescue it makes all the difference in the world. I don't know if he actually enjoys vet visits now, but he's calmer and easier to treat. Dr. Farber is wonderful and Theodore seems to like and trust him. The people at the front desk are friendly and helpful in person and on the phone. Be aware that WCV's fees are a little high, to me anyway, but that would be the only negative.
The vets, techs, admins, and other staff are all great. The clinic runs smoothly, is always clean, everyone is so pleasant, and most importantly my cat gets excellent care there! Even my cat likes this clinic the best out of the ones she's been to over the years because of how great their bedside manner is with pets -- she actually purrs and interacts during visits rather than how scared and upset she used to be at a vet. I always tell other people how great it is here!
We are so grateful to have found West Chelsea Veterinary Hospital through a trusted friend's enthusiastic recommendation. We have two senior dogs with health issues and finding great vet care was my biggest concern with a recent move. They have been patient's at West Chelsea for about 7 months now and have seen Dr. Farber and Dr. Chen both fantastic, had an echocardiogram love that a cardiologist comes to the practice regularly and most recently, Kat amazing worked with the USDA to get travel health certificates for them. I volunteer with a rescue, dogs are my people and getting the best care possible for our guys is really important to me. I can't recommend West Chelsea more highly they are lovely people too!
Have been going here for years. I’ve seen multiple vets. They have all been so kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I’ve had a sick chihuahua for years that finally passed. Throughout her years care they were incredibly attentive with a personal touch and assisting her passing was as good as a such a tough situation can be due to their kindness and courtesy. They still care for my other dogs as well.
WCV accommodated me gave me an appointment on an emergency basis. The people at the front desk, vet tech and the vet were all cordial, caring and extremely helpful. They were responsive and took very good care of Roxy. I will continue to use WCV and would recommend them to anyone who wants to make sure that their pet is well cared for. Thanks to everyone at WCV and especially to Dr. Farber, who was amazing.
Dr. Gayer is infinitely amazing and I consider her part of my family for the way she genuinely cares for and treats my animal kids! She couldn’t possibly be a more compassionate or loving human being towards Krishna and his siblings- or to me! I am beyond grateful for/to her and the rest of the staff at West Chelsea Vet for taking such great care of my babies with extra TLC and humanity that I haven’t found anywhere else! We don’t even live nearby, but it’s more than worth the trip! I trust and respect WCV completely and am constantly recommending them to my friends. Thank you so much Dr. Gayer and team!
I am so grateful that WCV was never closed throughout COVID and that my dog always had access to the care he needed even when we couldn't come inside with him. I love that I can always reach a vet on the phone with any concerns, and get an appointment within a day when advised that he needs to be seen. All the staff treat my dog gently with love and patience, and I trust that he is getting the best, most compassionate care available.
I highly recommend West Chelsea veterinary as the best in the business. I have been a client with several pets over 30 years and the service has always been gold standard. Dr Farber, the owner, treats my pets as if they were his own and I trust his judgement and advice. He never pushes any decisions on his clients, but gives you the facts in a compassionate manner. He saved my cat's life by suggesting surgery on her paw for a tumor which another vet at another hospital misdiagnosed. He and his staff are constantly aware of medical veterinary updates and keep clients updated with news letters. I highly recommend them!
