West Mesa Aquatic Center is the site of the City's newest Olympic pool.

This is an excellent pool for lap swimming, recreational swimming, exercise classes, swim meets — stadium seating to accommodate 800 spectators — and other activities.

Clean, helpful staff. Only one complaint. My son-in-law showed up for evening laps and they closed early while the baby pool was staying open. Shouldn't they NOT close early?
Awesome pace to cool off! 1 outdoor pool with splash pad and 2 waterslides. 2 indoor pools; 1 with waterslides & splash pad, the other is an Olympic-sized pool for both lap and recreational swim. Locker rooms were large. Bring your own lock for day-use lockers. Only negative was the overgrown weeds on the pool decking.
My 7 year old had fun! Although my 14 year old and 13 year old didn't. We had ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE that the diving boards were not open during the last session. The website does not specify. So my 2 older daughters didn't even get in the water. Such a waste or money.
You have to pre-purchase for your sessions. But they have excellent slides.
It was nice for the kids they really enjoyed the slide and water features that were there

This place has some really amazing slides. The best I've experienced in Albuquerque public pools!
Great to be back!! Haven't gone there since before covid-19 outbreak.
I swim laps to stay active and always love this facility. They book up quickly for laps, so grab your spot online 2 days in advance at 7am!
