West Rock Ridge State Park-Lake Wintergreen

I love it here. Way less busy than east rock, so it's comfortable visiting during this pandemic. You can easily wander off into the woods via several different marked trails, or you can just take a loop around the lake. It's beautiful, easy to navigate, and definitely worth visiting over and over again. And super pretty friendly!

Mystical and serene...

Very easy and beautiful hike! This park is very dog friendly and we saw so many dogs here. I will be back for sure. There are so many trails depending on how far you want to go.

Beautiful trail around the lake. It's a good place for a walk. Folks are quite friendly on the trails.

This was my first time here. I took one of my clients so we could relax and eat lunch at one of the pic-nic tables. It was absolutely beautiful and plan on trying the hiking trails in the fall.
