West Street Deli

This was my first food stop in Ames after not visiting for 3 years. Such a good deli shop. Get their regular special every time, you won't be dissapointed. The rear patio is so nice to sit outside when the weather is nice. Consider stopping here for lunch if you are on the engineering side of campus.

First time here. Food was great,especially The Cajun Tuna Melt, a must try. Thank you to the Cooks. Great Service as well.

The Reuben was great especially the rye bun. The gumbo was excellent

Second best Deli in Ames, IA. Sorry, but Downtown Deli will always have first place in my heart. This deli is still absolutely bomb though, and their specials almost never disappoint!

They are rated 4.6 stars somehow. Not even close. Don't get the French dip for sure. It is disgusting. It's some boiled Roast Beef Lunch meat that it just came out of a freezer that needs taken to the dump..... Seriously they must be promoting themselves with the reviews and 5 star votes.
