When I decided to go back to college I was 37 years old, married, and a mom of 2 kids. I was very nervous about being the "old kid" in school and worried that I couldn't keep up with the work. With dedication, determination, and the help of my husband I was not only able to just get by, I made presidents list the entire time I was in school. The staff care about your education and are always available when you have a question day or night. I knew of one student that texted a teacher at midnight and she responded right away! I recommend this school to everyone that don't want to get lost in a big college with overrated classes. If your worried about finding a successful position after you graduate, don't because all of my classmates landed great opportunities, most for WVU Medicine.

My sister attended WVJC, and I can attest that this program was the right choice for her. The instructors provided amazing support for her and was always ready to help make her succeed! I see her loving the nursing life, and am so grateful that this program made her dreams come true and more!

I attended WVJC for the PN program. This college and program is a decision I will never regret. It changed my life for the better and made my dreams come true of being a successful licensed practical nurse. The instructors, especially Pam Wilson, were phenomenal. Always willing to help and reach out to give support even on their days off. There was never a time that I doubted that the instructors or administrators had the best intentions for my success. They provided me tools to be the best nurse and version of myself. The skill sets that I left WVJC with will only continue to help me to evolve in the world of medicine. Not only did I leave with a diploma, I left an alma mater that I will always be proud of. If you're looking for a college that is like a second family and makes the time to help you succeed professionally and personally, this is the college for you!! I would recommend this college to family, friends, acquaintances, and anybody who wants a skill set that make them soar!!!

Worst LPN program in the state!! 100% board testing pass rate..sure..but how many students actually complete the program..lets see..less than half every year so far..tgis year started with 22 students..who have to pass exams take interviews and such to enter the program..so they are not idiots by any means..and as of today..even before the grading of final exams..they are down to 5..yes 5..and who knows by the end of the day..i think we can all see where the issue is here..not with the students..what a shame..that most of these people have quit jobs..rearranged family situations and went through alot to be able to go to school..with the hopes and dreams that they were going to better themselves and have a stable future..however thats not the case here..would jot recommend to anyone the lpn program!
