Western Market

This is a great market. Fresh seafood, great deli and bakery, tremendous selections of beer and wine. My only problem is one cashier who isn't friendly and gives me the stink eye every time I go in there which is every week. I avoid her line every time I go.

Awesome supermarket. I go here exclusively for certain items. Specifically hormone free chicken and craft beer. There is a great selections of fresh meats and vegetables. Being open late is also a plus. The bakery and deli always has good options for quick snacks.

Great deli, hot lunch selections, salad bar, cheeses. Best local food selection in the area and huge selection of beer and wine. Be aware, the actual groceries are on the expensive side. Come here for your specialty ingredients and lunch, not pantry staples.

Very beautiful grocery store and winery but customer service is snobbish and have a racist attitude!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New store that's well stocked both in grocery brands to select from with a very large wine and beer department featuring just about everything that the local wholesalers have to offer Birmingham. They have a great deli and meat department and a very friendly and helpful staff throughout the store.

The item selections is great. The lunch options are plentiful in the deli areas. Staff are always nice. Sushi here is a little pricey for some of the options, but it is great quality and tastes wonderful.

Still getting used to the new location. I miss walking in through the floral department and knowing exactly where everything is. The wine selection is enormous, more so than before. Seems the selections in general are more varied. Somehow they managed to keep the parking lot a health hazard.

Expect the meat market to be closed early with no notice. It was 7pm,all lights out,floor scrubbed. Expect the manager to roll his eyes when asked why is the bakery, hot bar and all other depts open and the meat market not. Expect your 10 year old daughter to comment that the manager looked annoyed by my question. We've shopped there for our steaks since they have the best USDA prime beef in Birmingham but we'll have to call ahead.

Love this place. Food selection is amazing and staff so friendly. I bought the rotisserie chicken, black eye peas, turnip greens and some shrimp and crab gumbo. Best ever on all counts. Will be back

Best non-steroid chicken I've ever grilled comes from this place's meat dept. Good beer & wine staff & always has several checkout isles open. Zero wait time. Unlike Publix.
