Went to see Little Shop of Horror and it was such an amazing experience, the actors were on point with the character, loved every minute of it. The theater is small and intimate and felt like you were a part of the show. Definitely will be returning to take my family.
First time visiting the Westside Theater to watch Little Shop of Horrors. Great show, by the way, so you need to see it as in now! It currently stars Tony award winning actors Lena Hall and Matt Doyle. I saw it with Mr. Doyle's cover, Jeff Sears and he was stupendous as Seymour Krelborn as was the rest of the cast. Ms. Hall was perfection of course. She will be in the show until January 2023. The off Broadway theater is a small cozy venue in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. 200+ seating. They do require masks to be worn as well as proof of vaccination. This is probably because the place is so small, they want to protect the cast so they can continue doing what they do. Just comply, ok? They have snacks and beverages available for purchase. I sat front row, seat 107 right smack in the middle, where Audrey II tries to reach out to the audience and that was a quite an experience. One caveat to sitting front row: the splash zone. So watch out for those well enunciated p's and t's. #iykyk
My experience at the Westside Theatre was wonderful - the lobby and bar area were both decorated with loads of community art celebrating the show I was attending, staff were friendly and helpful, the theatre itself was comfortable and cozy. Every seat had a great view and the pokey staircases with stained glass to get to the theatre itself made the experience even more magical. 10/10 would go for a show there again!
Love this little theater! They have amazing shows, and a bar, and souvenirs all packed into one. They do require vaccine card and mask at all times which is not problem at all. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Little Shop of Horrors is playing now and I highly recommend it!
Such a great little theatre to see a show - not a bad seat in the house my last pic is from our seats in row J, house right! We saw Little Shop of Horrors WHICH WAS AMAZING and we loved every second of it! We will definitely be back to the Westside Theatre! Highly recommend!
What a delightful Off-Broadway Theater. Small and intimate space located on the 2nd floor you must walk up. This is the perfect house for Little Shop of Horrors the current priduction. The seating is actually roomy and comfortable by NYC standards.
Lovely little gem of a theatre a stone's throw away from Broadway. No production value is lost however and Little Shop of Horrors was an amazing production, both feeling like an intimate small time venue with a beautifully designed set. The cast and ensemble performed wonderfully.
Love this Off-Broadway theater! The space is small and intimate, with not a bad seat in the house. It’s located only a few blocks from Port Authority if you need to catch a ride home. The team works hard to make sure health guidelines are followed. Currently playing in the upstairs theater is Little Shop of Horrors, and I had so much fun! The actors are incredibly talented and the show is only 2 hours including intermission. If you’re a fan of the movie or just looking for a dark comedy musical, I highly recommend.
Wow what a theater. Very nice clean friendly staff. Show was wonderful would recommend to all ages. The actors ,actress ,production crew and producers did a fantastic job. Some house keeping issues gift shop and restrooms a little inadequate. They could have should have a bar with mix drinks even if there was a bar right next to theater. They should have shirts available day of show. Thank you for a very memorable time.
This was my first visit to NY. I've always loved little shop of horrors, never seen it live. The theatre is the cutest little place. I loved how intimate it felt being smaller. We were in the front row. SO wonderful. The actors were amazing, the props were phenomenal. I personally love Christian borle, so I was very excited. Definitely worth the time seeing!
