Whelan's Irish Pub

The food was delicious. My boyfriend had the chicken sandwich and fries I had the daily special, barbecue brisket sandwich but I had it without the bread. It had melted swiss cheese and coleslaw, I had mine with tots. I prefer the tots over the fries. The $2 jello shots are great. We have been there before the Reuben is fabulous. Weekend bangers and mash, yum. We will be back.

The food was pretty good and since it wasn't a busy time of the day, it came pretty promptly. There was seven of us and we were on split tables...one got napkins and our table did not until we asked for them. The waitress overflowed my water glass onto the table and my foot got wet. The second time she took my glass to fill it and needed our napkins to clean up the water on the floor behind me. She wasn't having her best day.

Foods ok, when the bartender orders it correctly. Found multiple charges on my card that i never made. Very mean little bartender, always fighting with her boyfriends in the bar. Not a very cool place to go if your trying to impress.....free pool though.

Really cute place. Only for 4 because they only have 1 bartender and it was pretty busy but she was amazing! Just maybe 1 more bartender and it would be great!

12.02.17 - I work nearby as Office Mgr - I enjoyed the lunch time visit. The Rueben is wonderful $11.00 a bit steep but well made sandwich. Although they were out of the Salad I wanted, they replaced it with another and still charged me extra $1.00 (I didn't need/or want the fries -suggestion: a nice coleslaw would be appropriate with no extra charge?) The coffee $2.50, was very good, and he made a fresh pot, nice gesture! Clean Pub. Courteous tender, he was stellar! 12.06.17 Another early afternoon lunch - I enjoyed the fish and chips $12.00 with a side of coleslaw (I would prefer more coleslaw and less chips) Was well prepared and good. The coffee, again, made fresh. Same tender, and still as nice, kind and stellar!
