Whiskey Charlie

A very cool rooftop bar just overlooking the marina! The vibes were amazing, staff super friendly and prompt. We were a group of 7 and we just walked in first come first serve. The views are amazing! They serve a quite good variety of drinks with not so much options of food as it’s not a restaurant, but we had flatbread pizza, marinated olives, ahi tuna salad and they were great. Recommended!

The view from up here is fabulous, I enjoyed sitting up here so much. The drinks were good, a little e pensive maybe but with the view and the patio it was worth it. The hubs and I just relaxed and enjoyed, a great way to end a day of running around.

I will start by saying this penthouse bar has a beautiful view of the Potomic River and the Wharf Marina. This alone, and the company I was with made my time at Whiskey Charlie very enjoyable. Although the bar, and view were both lovely there wasn't much space to enjoy the bar. It was a very small conservative area that just happened to be a little loud and crowded during my visit there. It was more open, and less crowded on the patio, but some of the guest were very boisterous, and at moments overwhelming. It had somewhat more of a club feel than a luxury bar experience as far as guest were concerned. I would have loved to have been offered more options in alcohol beverages, and a few more fire pits would have been a nice touch. There were only two fire pits among the guest there. You will definitely be sharing your space, and time with the other people visiting the bar, so your visit there may be more of a social experience than personal time with your partner or guest. FYI: The first pic was taken before other guest had arrived.

Stunning view! They did not have all the Whiskey/ drinks listed on their menu, honestly their selection was much smaller than advertised. The price of their cocktails was surprising as they used very cheap Whiskey / general alcohol. The staff were great, and they helped navigate the lacking menu. There are very few seats, but again, for the view it's worth standing room only!

Delicious mezcal cocktail and a lovely view! Friendly, skilled bartenders. A nice place to stop after the theater.

I don’t know why this has so many good reviews! The drinks are $18 and mediocre at best and the food is edible but not very good! Nachos have that movie theater/ ball game cheese on them. The view is nice but there is limited seating due to construction. Skip and go somewhere better. Come check the view if you want but go elsewhere for drinks and especially food!

Okay so this place has a nice view and the staff were very nice and fast. But the drinks were lacking, I'm not a liquor connoisuer but the tequila in my friend's drinks tasted very odd. The food was basically Applebee's. The nachos were $14 and were supposed to have pico de gallo - that "pico" on there is clearly Pace salsa. Every chip was smothered in Daisy sour cream and the cheese was minimal. Jalapenos were probably Heinz. The two flatbreads $16 I think I saw at Little Caesars the other day. Overall negative food and drink, positive view and ambience.

Absolutely phenomenal bar - great with friends or a date. The rooftop overlooking the wharf is fantastic. Our bartenders, Tony and Brendan were amazing - make sure to ask for them when you order cocktails because you can just give them a flavor profile and they will make you what you want! My new fave cocktail spot!

Absolutely loved coming here! The drinks were fantastic and the bartenders were so kind and helpful. It is self seat and first come first serve, which I loved. Beautiful views of Virginia and the Potomac river. Definitely would come back here again

Absolutely amazing view of thr Potomac and District Wharf. Love the drinks and the patio pretty disappointed that it is under renovation though. Hopefully it will be completed the next time I travel to DC.
