AMAZING VIBES AND MUSIC!!!! The dj is amazing and plays different genres. I went on a Saturday from 12:30-1:30am and it was busy but not packed. Most people seemed like they were in their late 20s and it had more of a bar vibe than somewhere to dance. There’s an adorable Photo Booth and it might be free I don’t remember.
You don't go to Whisky Town for the selection of pretty much anything. The beer is bottom barrel choice and the whisky/bourbon selection is mid level for the area. With that said, the atmosphere is laid back and easy going which is nice when you are just looking to hang out and chat with some friends. Best to get there on the earlier end though if you want to be able to actually talk to people around you.Bartenders are friendly and attentive which earns this place that 4th star.
Landon is the best bartender ever! Trivia! Trivia! Trivia! Need I say more? This is the ultimate spot for trivia in the East Village on Tuesday. The host is to die for! You will be missing out if you don’t come and experience the vibes Whiskey Town has to offer!
I love this place! Definitely more fun as the night goes on, but if you go around 10/11pm on a Friday night, you'll have lots of space to dance! The DJ is also awesome - a nice combo of 80s, 90s, and today's pop/dance music. Drinks are on the pricier side, but what else do you expect on the Lower East Side/Manhattan? Bartenders are also pretty cool.
TEQUILLA Trivia and Football what else can I ask for. Had a great time. Nice place to relax relate and play sone games you may have forgotten..
Had a good time with friends. A couple dartboards and a dozen or so stools with some narrow tables. Relatively young and white crowd and fun throwback pop music.
John the bartender was awesome! Genuine and incredibly thoughtful helping us celebrate my engagement party at the place we met two years ago. Great vibe great bar, music gets loud as the night goes on and it’ll get packed on the weekends - still a fun place!
Fun little bar with a pleasant atmosphere and a live DJ on weekends. Cheap beers and nostalgic music ranging from hip hop to 2000s pop and rock meant that the bar became very crowded close to midnight! It was exciting but a very tight squeeze.
Whiskey town is a great time if you don’t mind the crowd. It can get a little close quarters in there. The music at night is great though, it’s pretty much every throwback you want to hear. And when I say you, I mean literally everyone in there so the energy is great. They sell 6packs of beer too. Really nice to not have to fight back to the bar!
Great dance floor had a fantastic Saturday night here
