This is a small Whole Foods with a limited selection of products.
The prices are quite steep, so I expect a superior quality.
Most items met my expectations, but not all. In about 60 % of the occasions that I bought fruits, they were good, in about 20 % they were average and the remaining 20 % were below average.
Many of the packed goods are not better than in any grocery store, just more expensive. You will, however, find many organic and good quality items.
Dairy items are very good.
I love the bakery, it is far above standard.
As I'm pescetarian, I can't comment on meat or poultry.
There is a large selection of delicious cheese that I seldom find in other grocery stores.
The hot and cold bars are a bit boring and the hot food is not always great for the price. Once I had to return the fish because it tasted bad. I also miss the small containers for the hot and cold bars, that you normally get in other Whole Foods stores. I won't buy more, if I have to put my food into a large container, I rather buy less or nothing at all.
The coffee bar is nice and the seating areas are outstanding.
I appreciate that I get a paper bag and would like the fruit and vegetable section to use paper or biodegradable bags, too.
All employees I met so far were very friendly and helpful. I think, the staff is doing a great job.
One of my main reasons why I shop at Whole Foods is the availability of products that are free from animal cruelty. I also like to shop healthy and organic.
All in all, it's a decent store. As I shopped in numerous Whole Foods all over the country, I can say that the Shreveport branch is one of the smaller ones. If you ever drive to Austin, TX, visit the Whole Foods flagship store on Lamar Blvd.

It's really gone down in terms of selection. I only go here now to buy French Truck coffee. They have a very meagre selection of vitamins so I now just buy what I need online. Kroger honestly has just as good produce, meat and cheese at similar prices. The salad bar has definitely declined in selection and freshness. The sushi is, I'm sorry to say, just horrible. The last roll I bought had fish with skin and gristle still attached. Management did refund my money, but I had to drive all the way back to Shreveport. They did not offer an apology, btw.

This store offers the cleanest, most wholesome foods you can get. I love the atmosphere as I shop in here. I've never been in there and heard screaming kids or loud talking like in other stores.

Since leaving central Florida 3 years ago it is so nice to visit Shreveport, LA and have a chance to get items I would usually have to order online or get when I do see a Whole Foods is a treat. I love the store, it offers things I cannot find in run of the mill stores as well enjoy the small restaurant. Clean and easy to find things as well as knowing if assistance is needed there is always a friendly person to assist.

Great variety at a great price. I didn't go here for a while because I thought it would be super expensive and my family is on a tight budget but that's not the case at all. This is now my favorite grocery store to go to!!!
