Its outfitted as a healthy restaurant. It can be only because the prepared food is incredibly dry; meat almost burnt all over. Super light on the much needed sauce. I bought both a superman signature sandwich and a chicken ceasar wrap. Wrap was slightly more sauced than the superman but still pretty dry with a grilled meat. Very tight on the napkins. Your going to need water a lot to finish your meal.
I’ll make this short and simple I ordered a burger with ketchup & they didn’t put ketchup & they put mayo oh & the cheese fries they put one layer of cheese on the fries & call it cheese fries amateur hour underneath there are fries without cheese Sb: I ordered through grubhub
Wide variety of healthy daily products, awesome sandwiches, smoothies and salads! My favorite Saturday’s breakfast stop.
Love the selection of candy they have here and other hard to find groceries. I also like coming here for food from time to time. Their wraps are good and so are the breakfast meals. The only issue I have is with the over cooked burger. Burgers should be juicy not pressed and cooked to death. Still love that the food is quick and the staff are always nice.
I have no idea what is wrong with this neighborhood and the bacon they get but nearly every deli grocer I tried has terrible bacon. How do you mess up bacon??? It’s both over and undercooked. It’s stringy and seems old like it’s been sitting out half cooked forever and they try to pile it on the grill to heat it up to order and it’s just horrendous. Besides that, everything else seems to be okay. Service is pretty quick there.
Not recommended! Not only are they grossly overpriced, they have very deceptive practices. I ordered an omelette platter with an extra egg without the fries and today but was charged an additional $1. For an egg. There is a bag fee of 10 cents however, was told by the checkout person 'this time I'll give it to you...no charge'. Was not told of the charge initially so I could make a better decision and was still charged for the bag. Total bill - $9.05. omelette $5.95 with 1 extra egg no toast or fries, coffee $2., and brown bag .10 cts. I recommend they tell you the cost beforehand or have the prices clearly posted. However minute it may seem, I never want to be ripped off. I will be spending elsewhere.
As a member of the neighborhood, I am disappointed that they have hicked their prices to what they are. A burger and fries never cost more than $10. Now it's $12.49 before tax.
Everyone is friendly unfortunately ,,over time the staff frequently changes. ..my orders come delivered..wrong..the nite person jokes to much wile taking orders..the day time person is pleasant..but orders are not routinely verified...and come wrong like today.. instead of giving me what I what he wants to go back and forth about who said what Some are not familiar with American foods and hear things wrong Like white bread I get rye bread...corn beef hash I get corn beef.. There was no offer to replace the order.. done with them
I really like this spot. Their shop is not the largest, so you may not find everything on your grocery list here, but it's still worth a visit in my opinion. First, if you want to find some great ice cream flavors and brands, this spot has a lot of options. They have Three Twins ice cream a personal favorite as well as Van Leeuwen's, both of which are premium, tasty choices. They also have a solid kitchen. I've had the steak salad here as well as a few of the breakfast options and a burger. It's been pretty good. If you enjoy browsing to discover new stuff, their aisles are also full of brands you don't typically find anywhere else. It has that "trendy" "healthy" "organic" vibe, so you're paying more for something interesting and different and hopefully healthier. And the fact they're open til 2AM is nice
Very friendly & accommodating staff. Extremely clean store. Excellent take out deli. Cheaper prices on health food items compared to Lincoln Market, a few doors down. Check for the bright orange stickers for sale items!
