Wichita Tree Service

Our experience with Wichita Tree Service started off great. One of their sales representatives came over and gave us a reasonable quote for the removal of a large tree in our backyard. A month later, I received a text two days in advance that they would be showing up to remove the tree. When they arrived, the crew informed us that they could not complete the job as bid because the sales representative overestimated the extension capabilities of their bucket truck. The crew re-estimated and determined that they would need to reschedule for a different time when their other crew was available and when the power company could cut the power to our house. A month passed without any communication. I called the company twice and left an email before we connected. I learned at the time that they had not yet contacted the power company and was assured that they would organize a three-way call between myself, the company, and the power company to get the job scheduled. Another month passed without any communication. I called and left a message with the company asking for an update. One day later, I received a call from the owner who informed me that they would be on our property in three days to remove the tree. The removal went as planned, but the crew placed the downed branches and drove their skid loader on our neighbor's lawn. Although they provided my neighbor with grass seed to repair the area, the neighbor was not happy. Needless to say, I was not happy either with my experience. That having been said, everyone at the company was very friendly and polite when we did communicate.
