This place is like eating with family and friends. It's not a job for the owners it's their passion. Vic runs the front of the house welcoming everyone and his wife, I think her name is Marie, is the chef. We had the smoked gator appetizer. We have had gator before but if was always fried so this was a nice change and it was yummy. For it main dish we shared goat tacos with fresh pico and elk sliders with grilled onions and potatoes. The seasoning on the potatoes was perfect fit roasted potatoes. Everything we had was so yummy. You will look at the menu and want to order everything. I love how the feature local Arizona beers on tap. We plan to go back to try other dishes. You won't regret stopping by this uptown Chandler restaurant and bar.
If I could give this 10 stars I would!!! I called in an order for my husband because I'm so picky I didn't even think I would try this but the owner is so wonderful!!!! He recommended the Jerk chicken. Hands down this is the best dinner we have had in years!!!! Our twins 5 and son 2 even went wild over our food!! THE BISON PIZZA IS A MUST ITS ALSO DELICIOUS!!! Food is fresh and hot. This place is a hidden Gem literally!!! Will definitely be returning at least once a week!!! Check this place out.
Great place to grab a few drinks and enjoy some specialty game meats. Lots of different dishes that feature elk, venison, bison, wild boar, antelope, rabbit, alligator, duck, goat, you name it! We tried their sliders, one venison and one elk, both were so juicy and delicious. The venison was more tender but the elk meat was more flavorful. The owners Victor and Gabby are the nicest people you will ever meet. They treat all the guests like their own family. They talk to you and get to know you on an individual level. Thank you guys for the hospitality! My wife and I will definitely be back.
Went here for dinner recently and I had a blast! I learned about game meats and I tried wild boar and elk for the first time. The fresh, organic produce is from Crooked Sky Farms and it really adds a lot to the overall quality of the food. The Freedom Potatoes with wild boar bacon bits were flavorful and delicious. The spicy jerk chicken was authentic & the best I've had in years - highly recommended! They have a great selection of beers - Head to Tale Amber from OHSO Brewery went well with the meal. The owners were very attentive and Victor made sure we were happy with our food and service. His menu suggestions were perfect. Gabby, the chef, is very passionate about her food and it shows through her cooking. It was nice meeting her at the end of the meal. The restaurant had a cozy and friendly atmosphere with couches, t.v.s and board games which encouraged us to stay awhile. Thank you for a wonderful evening, Victor and Gabby. It was a very eye-opening experience for this adventurous foodie. I will be back with family!
We went to Wild Elk yesterday. It was a great experience. I've grown up hunting and eating wild meat. If you are the same you know it's difficult to find. We ended up getting about eight different types of Sliders. All of them were delicious obviously some were better than others. My favorite was the venison or the antelope. Highly recommend checking this place out it's a family-owned operation. Definitely try the hot seasoning a little goes a long way FYI.
Fabulous and delicious! Victor and Gabby are loving and so inviting. So fun to try Gator, Elk, Wild Boar, and Yak! And it was SO GOOD!! Can't wait to come back and try more.
This place is all about game meat. Its definately a place to check out. I beleive its the only restaurant that specializes in game meat. The owners Victor and Gabby are very genuine and friendly. Kids are welcome here. The jerk chicken is msde from stratch and delicious. We will be back.
Great service Victor is very friendly and makes the experience pleasant. One draw back is the cost for the food but you're buying game meat so there is a premium price.
The food here is great. The bison pizza was amazing, and the jerk wings remind me of being back in the Caribbean. Best jerk wings in the state, by far! We have also tried a boar slider and a rabbit slider. We highly recommend this place. The decor is random and sparse but we come here for the food. There are board games in the corner but we have not even gone over to look at them. Right now they have a craft stout beer that is really good.
This place is incredible! Anything wild is served here in an amazing way! They can even cook what you kill... cant go wrong, just sayin
