We rented with Benoit with Craig Scanzio as the property manager. We really highly recommend working with him. Craig was very responsive when we needed anything taken care of in the apartment. When we unexpectedly needed to move out of state, Craig was fantastic to work with and made sure that the apartment got filled quickly. The couple times something needed repaired, Craig brought someone in very quickly or helped himself. He also was very careful about COVID precautions. He's just so great and supportive!

This review is for Peter Cote who helped me find and apply to an apartment in Revere. Peter was everything I had hoped for in an agent-diligent, friendly, honest, and resourceful. Applying to an apartment is a time-sensitive process, yet Peter was always able to get me answers, forms, and set up meetings to get documents signed so that the process happened as it should. At one point we had trouble locating the keys that the landlord dropped off, and although Peter was on vacation out of state, he answered my calls and helped me track them down within an hour, which was far from expected but certainly appreciated. In this market of real-estate sharks, an honest, diligent, and friendly agent is hard to find. I would 100% recommend Benoit and Peter Cote!

It has been my pleasure working with Arielle at Benoit Realty. She has met my needs in clear communication, prompt responses and an upbeat personality. I had the pleasure of meeting another realtor at the office, who was also very upbeat. I recommend Benoit Realty in Somerville. Be prepared for parking meters although they are conveniently located right outside Davis Square T stop on the red line.

I had a wonderful experience dealing with Craig, who sublet me a room in his apartment. He was very friendly, flexible, professional, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Craig and his firm for your real estate needs.

Where could I start about this , in May we saw a listing that they had and got in touch to rent an apt . The apt was 1900 and there was a full fee and the thought process is that if you are paying a fee the agent will look to give you all the info and make sure that the process goes smoothly and at least respectable. Nowhere close to that after signing the lease other things came up oil bill etc , when confronted about this at first Will D’Silva sad that probably my wife did not understand goes as far as that she is lying and that he told her all of the info. After that he sad that the landlord is giving him half info etc A sack of lies , totally if not for the immediate need for a place I would of walked away . But wait when we thought that was behind us , the time to leave came so that the apt had to be rented again and the “amazing “ quality of these real estates agents was again on full display. “Hi Claudiu, I have a showing request for tomorrow at 12 noon and I will be stopping by the apartment.” Now to this our request was that we need them to come in after 5 pm and all because we had a sick pet and also because we wanted to be at home period. His reply was don’t worry I have a hey, now if this would be it I would be able to leave with it but this just started a trail of absolutely ridiculous behavior. We got home one day to have to find another employee of Benoit in our apt by himself and confronted about this he just casually replied that these are the rules and that he can just do what he wants , people sent on a Sunday after I told them that I am having people over to see the apt . Keep in mind before using them all of this first and for most they can’t be trusted and even if you pay a fee they will never look after your best interest. At no place in time during these interactions a sense of any accountability for what happened was ever shown by these so called professionals. Only the landlord apologized for there actions, which is funny because he had nothing to do with it Will and Joseph are absolutely the worst people that I had to deal with , total liars and who knows how many times they went in the apt without our permission, just once I saw it but in reality who knows. I would not only not recommend them I would go as far as asking anyone to STAY AWAY They can’t and should not be trusted. I know that a company is not responsible for individuals actions but Will and Joseph do represent this real estate company and they are not honest people

We ultimately decided to rent a different apartment, but we had a very positive experience working with Jay. He was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the property. Would definitely consider for future real estate needs.

We have worked with Shane over the past 6 years to buy a condo, sell that condo, and buy a house. If we ever have real estate needs in the future we will work with Shane again. For our home purchases, Shane helped us navigate the extreme sellers market in this area and helped us realize that you can still buy a home without offering more than asking price and waiving all contingencies...every situation is different and we were successful at getting the home we wanted in two very different ones. He was frank about the pluses and minuses of homes. His knowledge of the local market and of homes and building materials is excellent and clearly based on decades of experience living and working in this area. He found local lenders that beat the prices and rates of what I found on my own online. For our sale, Shane made sure our property attracted the maximal amount of interest and helped us evaluate all aspects of the offers we received and make a wise decision.

As a landlord, I would prefer real estate companies that don't lose my checks.
